FaceBook Just Might Do Some Good!

Face Book really surprised me this morning when I opened it up.  Besides everybody getting on here and venting or laughing with and at friends.  It does things like got me in contact with a guy I haven't seen or spoken to in 22ish years.  So the last couple of days we've been chatting a bit and making future plans to get together for some fishing, shooting, and maybe even drinking some beer.  That should get the Demoncrats steaming.  But that's not what this post is about.

I got one of those David we care about your "memories" things.  It was two years ago that I came across a news article about a school district in TX.  During a Girls Basketball Game the fans started chanting, "USA, USA...".  The girls won the game but were branded as racist along with the fans.  I know it was picked up by the local news and national papers, I think Fox even picked it up but not sure.  They received so much criticism over this that the Districts Superintendent had to apologize PUBLICLY to the other district.   The other district had a high minority student body, over 70% Hispanic.  The same school had the same problem a couple of years earlier at a boys high school football game.

Shortly after  this shit hit the fan, the Demoncrats were busting kids about wearing or having an American Flag on 5/5 (Cinco de Mayo) in Southern Cal., I'll try to find a guy to help me out with that one.  It's always best to get it local and I know a guy who knows a guy.

When did it become a crime to be Patriotic?  What are we teaching our children?  My thought is, and I keep saying, I am not a RACIST.  I do not hate you because of the color of your skin.  I do not hate you because of the language you speak.  I hate only STUPID PEOPLE.  Stupid people shouldn't breed.  Let's not forget mUSLIMS, I hate them too.  If I have offended anyone by leaving them out of my hate category, I apologize.  I'll catch you next time.

Hats off to these guys!!!  What a wonderful way to dispose of a used Flag.  I'm gonna try to give these guys a call and see if I can help.  I know for sure I can find some Vets that would Love to have one.

Another New Study

Well  Check this out.  I just read a new study from the EU.  They tested, followed, and documented over thirty thousand households in four European countries.  England, France, Italy, and Sweden all participated.  Over the course of twenty years they tracked randomly picked families and their use of microwaves (yes, the kitchen appliance).  They found that the number 9 was the least used button on the control panel.  They instructed the users to start operating their units by reducing the designated cook time by one second.  Therefore, 30 seconds then became 29, one minute then became 59 seconds, and so on.

According to the institute conducting the study, the results were amazing.  Longevity of the microwaves increased by three years just due to the use of different numbers but the most astonishing thing that they found was electric consumption was reduced by 103%, saving the consumer over 50 euro (about 75US) each year, without compromising cook quality.  The entire study can be found at 1apriscoming.org

What Next?

Ok, I was really hoping this Bull Shit was going away but apparently not.  I'm not going to show the painting but you know the one I'm talking about, yes the one with the pigs.  Cops portrayed as pigs guns drawn at unarmed civilians.

It's been up and down three times now.  The argument of the Congressman that put it up is it's free speech and it shows how the inner city youths feel about America and Police Officers in general.  The other side argues that it's offensive and if they can't have pictures of the KKK or The Ten Commandments etc... then they shouldn't be able to have that hanging up.  Also, that it divides the country.

I'll tell you what divides the country.  *SLD's divide the country, the Congressional Black Caucus divides the country, No' bama divides OUR COUNTRY!!!  One can not sit in the same pew for twenty years, TWENTY YEARS mind you and listen to not God Bless America but Goddamn America and it not start to sink in.  If you didn't like it or didn't believe it, you'd find another place to go.  I've been saying that ever since the mUSLIM Bastard started running for office.

Holy shit Peeps.  Not even I can believe this, I was trolling the other day @ some union sites trying to get some info.  Now I've told you all that I've been ban from all of these.  Even their web pages, comments section.  During my travels and just for shits and giggles I requested to join.  Of course I was denied from all but one, lol.  Someone in their infinite wisdom thought it would be a good ideal to let me back in to the group.  I'm sure that won't last long.

However, I did find a couple of articles on the Women of the USW.  It was all shit about support the effort to make paid leave for domestic violence and sexual assault.  Which is cool with me as long as it goes both ways.  Problem is most men don't report it.  I know I never did.  I looked at the CBH after an "argument" and told her if she ever hit me again I was out and out for ever.  BTW, I was her second husband (that I know of) and now she is on her forth or fifth, I don't know, we don't talk and that's the way I like it.  All I know are the name changes on the court documents.  Back to the story, I had the weekend off from Knox (I was a Drill Sgt. there) so I went home to see the family.  I was down in the basement trying to organize some shelves and sure enough the CBH came down and started her shit.  Long story short, she hit me for the last.  I turned around and that was the last time I had stepped foot in my house.  I left everything.

But I digress, yet again.  The Women of the USW can say the collective bargaining agreement is for both men and women but we all know it's a bill for women.  Again, I bet that woman pipefitter wants the same pay as the guy next to her, which I don't have a problem with as long as she does the same work. But, if on every job site the guy is the one who is tasked with all of the long heavier steel, then that's not equal pay for equal work.  Neither is that bill.  I'm not saying that some women can't do the same job as men but men are naturally bigger, faster, stronger, and better than women.

Welfare Reform

This is how to get our "welfare" system under control.  First we'll start with the Medicaid card and move on from there.  There is a list of mandatory services that states must provide and then there is a list of optional services.  If you want to know more on the subject check your states web site.

In order to stop FWA or Fraud, waste and abuse.  We need to do better policing of doctors and pharmacies alike.  We don't need more people just better, more efficient people.  We need to get away from the concept of, I got me a govment job and I'm set for life.  And by no means should there be unions in government.  Unions only increase the cost of goods and services.  They do not protect workers at all.  Just ask those folks at the Upper Big Branch mine in WV.  Oh wait, you can't, they're all dead.  You could start looking for union shops on OSHA reports.

Also, services with the card should not be free.  There should be a co-pay of at least ten dollars per visit depending on if it is to the general practitioner or some type of specialist.  This would stop or seriously reduce "mommy" from taking her snot nose brat to the doctor every time it sneezes.  At least five bucks on medications.  All generic of course.  Anything more than one script of pain meds should come with counselling for abuse and the potential of and pain management therapy.

Checks or EBT Cards (Electronic Benefit Transfer) must be better controlled.  To many pizza houses are now taking them. To many people buying hot food at the local grocery store.  We could offer reward money to turn people in because apparently doing the right thing is just not enough.  These are just a few things we could implement to get us moving in the right direction.

Women or girls should not be allowed to spread their legs and get a bigger check.  What in the hell kind of world does that make sense in?  I can't afford to support myself but let me squeeze out a couple of kids and you'll give me more money and a bigger place to live.  I mean What The Fuck?  Over!  Sterilization, anyone on welfare should be sterilized.  Rather it's temporary or permeant, I don't care.  People should not be having babies on the system, much less getting rewarded for it.

Finally, we should put a two year limit on any and all benefits.  Period.  However, I'm not saying make them starve.  Put them up for two years.  Pay 100% housing, food, electricity, child care and here's the kicker tuition and books, fees etc... to any state school.  Wanna be a nurse? Be a nurse.  You can become an RN in two years, they make good money.  One can become a truck/bus driver, electrician, plumber, CAD/CAM design, CNC operator, thousands of job titles out there can be accomplished in two years or under.  Then you are booted off the system never to be heard from again.

All of these benefits should be subject to random drug testing and home inspections.  Your social worker should be able to check up on you at anytime to make sure there is food in the house or make you submit to a hair follicle test.  That's no smoking, drinking or drugs.  I don't care if your neighbor gave you a drink or a line.  Or if you were "just riding in the car and they fired up.  Zero tolerance.  If you fail you're off.  If you have kids, they then become wards of the state and you starve.  Make sure you look for up coming post titled Wards and Welfare, the next factory.

How to build a wall.  It's not like the Chinese did it and it's not like Trump and the rest of the GOP says they want to do it.  I'll tell you the only true way to do it.  It's not popular but it will work.  I know most of you think I'm sick, deranged, demented.  Whatever, I really gives a DAMN.  All I say is what everyone else thinks.  You want to stop mUSLIMS from killing innocence but you don't want to do what it takes to be safe.  You want to drive in the city but don't want to fix the problem when a family takes a wrong turn and gets mowed down by a bunch of thugs.  You want Legal immigration but refuse to fix the problem.  If you voted for Trump because of a wall, that's fine.  I can't tell you who to vote for but I can tell you that it won't work.  God only knows how many tunnels we have on that border alone.

We have Ft. Hood, Ft. Sham Houston, Ft. Sill, Ft. Ord  ect... already there with equipment, arms and Soldiers.  We have that Navy station in southern Cal where they teach Marines, several other Naval Air Stations.  I have no ideal how many AF Bases are close enough to provide Close air support with in minutes.  Not to mention the capabilities of drones.  Hey, people may not like it but you use eminent domain and take a two click swipe all along the border.  Mine the first click. We have plenty.  We have munitions that can cover a click in under three minutes.  We have munitions that can self-destruct.

Most civilians don't understand that the operators of UAV's have to fly, Soldiers have to spend X amount of time in the field. they have to spend so much time on the range, they have to shoot.  We are going to expend those rounds anyway.  We are going to use those resources rather it's at Ft. Knox or Lockland AFB.  Hell, even that Pussy Ass Navy Station where they teach Marines will use resources.

Yes, I'm talking about killing illegals for the lone reason I'm tired of people saying undocumented workers.  Kill them the minute they brake the law and step foot on our soil.  Stack the bodies and stack them high, I say.  Use them as a sign to let the others know if you're coming over you better do it legally.  The problem with that is I think people would get the ideal rather quickly so we might run out of bodies.  But wait, there's more!!!  In order to maximize the effect and reduce the distance between bodies I think we should impale the carcasses with a distance of line of sight in between.  Impale them, put them on crosses.  Hell, I don't care if you hang them from a Navy Yardarm.

And just to be clear, I'm not talking about having Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines shoulder to shoulder.  Even our old cheapy optics can see ten clicks away.  That's ten with night vision and Infrared.  I would have interlocking lines of sight and lines of fire.  It's called a FPL or Final Protective Line.  Nothing gets though.

The tunnels?  I wouldn't waste the manpower.  Just place some claymores with motion and sound sensors.  We'll know when they go off.  Send a squad to clear the AO and replace the ordinance, leave the bodies and Charlie Mike.  All of this will allow ICE to consolidate their efforts on what they are designed to do.  Police and maintain legitimate border crossings, imports and personnel accompanying, deportation of illegals and revocations.

Peace Prize

As I sit here broke off my ass, waiting for the VA and Social Security to get off of theirs, No' bama comes across the TV and get a medal.  Nice one too.  The highest you can get as a civilian working with the DOD or whatever.  Shows you how much I really care about this Piece of Shit.

However, it got me thing about his Nobel Piece Prize.  Now the amount of award money varies from year to year but I do believe that No' bama got about 1.4 million.

I am so tired of eating beans and rice and rice and beans.  Trying to think of new ways to make the shit,  I can't remember the last time I bought a steak to throw on the grill and this SOB walks away with 1,4 Mil. plus his salary for the rest of his life.

What would I do for 1,4???  How much mUSLIM ass would I have to kiss?  How much mUSLIM dick would I have to suck?  I think I could get a couple down.  Maybe if I started at the top I wouldn't have to do to many.

Hope all you guys are having a fun filled afternoon.  Mine could be better but it could always be worse.  KY has to be the bluest state in the nation, Right under Cali and NY.  However, two years ago we did elect a Republican Governor and as of this month they now have both houses of state government plus the governorship.  Let the good times roll.

We have a couple of counties that have voted "right to work" laws for themselves, of which I think they have lost in court or they are still pending.  The nasty old Republicans are now trying to push this bullshit down our throats, state wide.  The judiciary committee held their session and voted today on right to work and the states prevailing wage law.  If you're a Demoncrat reading this I wish I could say I'm sorry, but I'm not.  I truly think you are a stupid, hypocritical fuck.  A woman should have the right to choose if she wants to kill a baby.  A man should have the right to choose if he wants to go to the women's bathroom and take a leak.  You should be able to choose how and where you spend the welfare check (without accountability) provided to you by the tax payers.

Should we have the right to choose or not?  I guess if all of your kick backs and reelection campaign funds comes from the unions the answer is no.  "YOU GO NOW!!! NO RIGHT TO WORK FOR YOU"  If you don't know what a right to work law is, it means that if you work in a union shop you don't have to join the union and pay dues.  If you do, you get all the pay and security that the union provides all you have to do is make the fat cats fatter and build them golf courses and five star resorts (aka, reeducation camps).  A right to work state simply means you don't have to join a union in order to work at that particular establishment.  You show up on time, you do the same job as the union guys, you just don't pay the dues.  If you look at my last post you'll see a pic of a "free" T-shirt.  Only it's not free, somebody's dues paid for it.  Just like union dues are funding the Demoncrat coffers.

Unions were needed before we had nine million labor laws on the books.  Now, it's just legalized extortion.  Get off my docks or show me the money.  What you want a job making cars and trucks?  Just cost you 2 1/2 hours of your pay per month.  What does that get you?  Not shit from what I've seen and heard.  Unless you're a drunk or a lazy bastard.  Pissing hot or failing a hair follicle test means nothing. Being part of a union is like having tenure as a teacher, you got to have an act of congress in order to be fired.  Nothing but gospel.

The state has tried to go right to work before but we been governed by Demoncrats since God made ground.  If we go right to work I really think the UAW along with the rest of the trash will be out of here.  I can't wait.  Here's the kicker.  The UAW has already thought this though and has developed an educational program for their hourly workers.  Just look at the letter below.  There are more, tons more.  If the nation went right to work and we lowered corporate taxes, put proper tariffs on imported products we would still have all of the jobs.  The big nasty corporations wouldn't be able to work you ninety hours a week with 0 overtime because we have laws against it, etc, etc.......


Now our prevailing wage law means that if I own a bridge building business and the state is trying to save the ducks.  They get this Ideal to build bridges for them, so I put in a bid for the contract.  I get awarded the work, all of my employees working on that job must be at scale wage.  My problem with that is minimum wage in south eastern KY isn't that bad.  If you and the wife are working you can live rather good.  The problem is and again what people don't understand  is that when someone's wages go up, the price of everything goes up or quality goes down.  Period.  If my flagger was making 8 bucks an hour and because of this job site he now makes $16, I got news for, I'm not gonna loose money.  Someone is going to pay for it.  So raise the minimum wage all you want, you'll just pay more for everything else.  Companies are not in business to loose money, it will get passed on.  If I have to pay more, you have to pay more.  The chick at the counter makes more, the guy that fills the gas tanks make more, the guy that sticks the tanks everyday makes more.  You'll pay more.

Furthermore, I do not need somebody telling me how much to pay my employees.  The market should decided.  Not the government or the unions, not that one can tell them apart anymore.  If I can't find a decent flagger at 8 bucks maybe I need to go up to eight or ten or whatever it takes to get the help.  At least that way it the market deciding.

Unions IX

So, I was messing around folding some clothes early this afternoon and came across this T-shirt.  It immediately made me smile and then in made me angry.  Solidarity, gotta love all that solidarity going around in the UAW.

My wife works for the UAW and there is a Ford truck plant in Louisville (20 minutes away and UAW labor of course).  Both plants either produce trucks or parts for the trucks.  Same union, just different Locals.  A couple of years ago the Lou. plant came up for contract renewal.  The year after my wife's plant also came up for renewal.  The Ford plant workers came home with about eight grand in signing bonus, plus hefty deposits in Ford stock and 401K's.  My wife? About $1200.  Where's the solidarity in that, the one for all and all for one?

The UAW recently increased union dues by 25%.  They did this in order to boost their strike fund.  My wife's contract has a no strike clause but she still got the increase.  Lou. plant does not have that same clause so most of those guys were hoping for a strike (according to my sources).  My wife makes about half of what they do and about 500 of their employees just got a $10 per hour raise!  Some bullshit in the contract.  They also have some weird short day pay if the plant goes down they get eight hours, I don't so don't quote me on that one, I'm not sure how it works exactly).

If there is a big game going on (ie, the Super Bowl, Final Four, Lou. Vs KY etc...) they'll go around asking people if they are going to show up or not.  If enough people say they're staying home, they'll shut the plant down.  That way they don't have to point people.  The other plant doesn't work if Ford doesn't work.  How's that for Solidarity???  Think about how many people that effects because someone wanted to watch a ball game.

By the way, I've been band from the UAW to the women of the USW and everything in between.  Go Figure!!!  This is not my first post on unions.  Read though the blog and you'll see some real head turning shit.  I'll have more tomorrow.

SLDs Seeking Gun Control

Wow, I was on my way to the VA this am and heard the 2016 homicide rate for the Windy City.  More than New York and LA.  SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO.  Yup, that's 762 in a year, better than two a day.  There were 4331 shooting victims.  That's almost 12 a day.  Everyday, not taking the weekend off but 11.8 per day, per week.  How do we fix it.  Jobs, they just need jobs and of course more Gun Control.

Some piece of shit Demoncrat mouth piece for the city was quoted the "Federal "Govment" needs to step it up with the funding so they can provide more summer jobs" for the cities "youts".  Really?  You dumb son of a bitch.  You really think those hoodlums and thugs need summer work?  Don't ask me who it was you'll have to google it, once you meet one stupid fucking Demoncrat you've met them all.  And Emanuel?  Well what can you say about that SLD?  Except you voted for him Chi Town.  Of course at last count the Windy City did have more dead people voting than live ones.  The only good thing about that is when they were alive at least they spoke English.  Trump.  Poor ole Trump.

Trump is getting criticized for doing to little and criticized for doing to much.  Not even sworn in yet and he's getting his ass kicked over a "stop and frisk" comment.  The police also are damned if they do and damned if they don't.  You couldn't pay me to be a cop these days.  At least not with out a body cam.  I'd buy one myself if I had to.  Guess somebody would see me doing a lot of pissing because I would never shut that thing off.

Critics of stop and frisk say it's racist and would hit African Americans more than other races.  If blacks are doing most of the shooting and killing then what should we do?  Stop all the white guys first?  Or do we stop at fifty black guys until we get fifty whites?  Gotta use common sense people.  And I'm not sorry if you get your feelings hurt.  If your peeps did maybe they wouldn't put you though that.  No difference if we had a out brake of KKK cross burnings or whitey's only violence and the mayor, governor, etc... said we need to stop and frisk white dudes with shaved heads, guess I'd have to allow a little more travel time coming from my crack dealers house.

The VA Part II

I almost fell off the couch when I saw this logo.  Then I remembered that I am a Paratrooper and we don't fall.  WE JUMP!  Of course the real logo isn't ripped but it's still funny as hell.  I'm getting tired of hearing about how we need to fix the VA.  First of all, people need to realize that the VA is more than just health care; however, that is what I want to concentrate on today.  Just remember that they are dealing with education benefits, VA home loans, VA and active duty medical records, service records, etc....  I don't know when the VA thought of this philosophy or came up with this logo but it's all a crock of shit. Below is a list of "I Care" core values that I stole from the VA's web site.

  Lemme tell you an "I care" story.  Wanna know what I care about?  I care about my money, about your money, about everybody's money.  I can't stand waste of any type, even if it isn't my money.  I go to the VA in Louisville, KY and one of their satellite clinics it's the only one I've been to so my experience is limited but from what I've heard from other Vets it's the same across the board.

So I'm at the VA for two appointments.  I get there early because there are some other things I need to do while I am there.  I need to change out some wrist braces and get a picture taken for my VA ID.  I should add that I'm 10% plus loss of an organ.  They don't want my braces which sucks because now they're just a waste in the closet but they order me new ones.  Cool got that one done, still have time to get my pic done before my first appointment.  I get to admissions which is adjacent to the ER check in and sure enough the chick that runs the department sends me packing.  "Nope, get out of here, I've told you before they are mailing it to you (about eight times before but who's counting").  This has been going on for about eight or nine months now!!  Every time I walk in the place the first thing they ask me is, "Got your ID".  I just got tired of saying no.  I mean I was using all of my ninja shills and was at a whisper to the girl behind the counter and the head girl still heard me and popped her head out of that cubical.  I was like damn, OK.  When I first got there it was slightly before 0700 as I parked in the handicap spot out front next to the valet parking making my to the main entrance the trash can was over flowing to the point people had just starting to throw trash on the ground next to it.  Now it was before 0700 so the morning shift had not started yet but the car parkers were there and you'd think someone could police that shit up, but nope.  So after the ID Nazi told me no I went outside to grab a smoke.  At this point it was about 0730, still trash all over the freaking place.  I go back in and make my first appointment, get it finished and go up stairs to audiology and check in.  I asked that women what does it look like about getting me in early?  Her reply was not a chance.  I was like Fuck because now I have three/four hours to kill.  I go back outside for yet another nail (in the coffin, for you slow folks) and still trash.  I just shook my head and had my smoke.  Go back in to mess around a bit, now because of traffic/construction I always have to leave early, It can take me forty-five minutes or two hours and forty-five, you never know, so I always pack food and drink.  After awhile I decide to go to my car for an early lunch, still trash, on the way back in, still trash.  When I finished the day it was about 1345 and yes, still trash.  Now I always fill out one of those "Tell the Director" comment cards.  Good or bad but most have been good.  I'll tell you what happened at the end of this.

As I was hobbling my way though the hospital checking things out, I came across a library.  I thought cool, let's check this out.  A couple of empty tables and several sparsely filled book shelves I probably was there thirty seconds before I heard "can I help you" from the librarian.  We talk for a bit and I told her I was just looking for a place to chill until my next appointment.  She was cool and helpful but then she tells me they don't have any books for me.  ???Right?  It wasn't a library for patients or visitors, it was for the medical staff to do research.  Now everyone I've seen in the VA has a computer and half of those have tablets, all VA of course.  These people could look up anything on-line in one tenth of the time it would take just to get to the place much less navigate the 1980's card catalog that I used in my one room school house when I was in grade school for God's sake.  Don't quote me on this but I want to say their hours were like 0700 to 1800ish.  That's at least two librarians per day plus trying to cover sick time, vacation time, etc...  These are unionized government workers, I don't know how much a librarian makes but I'm sure the cash isn't bad for the work load.  And the benefits, I mean holy shit, think about what that cost the tax payers.  If it was a skeleton crew of three people, times two for the number of hospitals that we have in my small state (pop wise) of KY then times by fifty, that's a lot of retirements to pay for.  A lot of vacation days, sick days, thirteenish holidays per year. I say ish because last year and/or the year prior No' Bama gave them another.  I don't know if it was permanent.  I'm low balling here because the VA's site reads 1899 facilities but I'm sure not all have libraries.

Back to the hospital (structure) which by the way is getting renovated.  Fixing this, building that, making this look pretty and so on.  Millions upon millions just so the VA can abandon it.  Millions already spent in EPA environmental impact, traffic studies, site selection and what ever else comes with that BS.  The city was all for it, I mean who wouldn't be, a brand new hospital being built.  That's a ton of cash for  the city.  Until the other day when the residents got their panties in a bunch because of "traffic and noise".  Can't really blame them.  Who wants drug pushers and homeless next door.  That's what you're going to get, I've heard but never seen, Vet walks in sees the Doc goes to the pharmacy walks outside and sells his or hers pills.  Just comes with the territory.  Part of the Reno was these nine million Kiosk that we have all over the place including clinics.  So you don't even go to the counter anymore, just stick your ID in there and push some buttons to check in.  Eventually the nurse or doc will come out and get you.

Here's my bitch.  The God blessed system will not let you check in no more than one hour prior to your appointment.  So if you're someone like myself that has to leave way early or risk being late, you're just gonna waste some time.  Now if we have a Vet that doesn't mind being late or gets in a wreck can't or just doesn't make it, I could take their place if they happen to come in, stick them in my spot.  Either way it's a win win and I get to get out early, the doc is ahead of schedule.  It's been several months but something came up and I had to cancel an appointment.  It was after hours so I called the main line and got the automated system (which I hate) I cancelled the appointment and a couple of days after said date, I check my mail and sure enough I have a nasty gram from the VA.  You should have called and cancelled another Vet could have used that time, bla, bla, bla.  That sorta crawled under my skin so I called the clinic and was like WTF Over? I did call and got the automated system and cancelled that way.  Chick says and I shit you not, "well we don't have access to that".  Really???  Then why in the hell have it?  Are you Fucking kidding me?  You don't have access.  People, the hospital doesn't talk to the clinic and vice versa.  Computer wise or voice.  Just not there.  My head shrinker makes her own appointments.  Sometimes they know, sometimes they don't.

I was in the hospital for a couple of days in December.  Upon discharge the nurse and the instructions remind me to keep all scheduled appt.'s.  So I do, I had three scheduled back to back.  Traffic was super light so I'm there almost two hours early.  I wait in the car (it's still dark outside) till about one hour early, go upstairs, stick my card in that machine and they cancelled all of my appt.'s.  That time they'll talk to each other.  I was livid and it didn't help I was already pissed off, I took a deep breath and went home.

When my wife first saw me having a seizure and had my happy ass in the ER, I know it was time for the disability claim.  I fought it for about two years prior to that, I just didn't want to get on the system.  Because my wife works 10, 12 or better a day, I really don't know how many I have had.  We just don't see that much of each other.  Sometimes I feel like roommates but that a different story.  So, I'm exploring the wonderful world of VA claims and the guy at Ft. Knox told me he wouldn't touch it unless I had all records.  Hard copies only, nothing digital.  NP, I go down to IACH at Knox and the chick was like we'll call you in about two weeks you can come pick them up.  Hell yea, Awesome.  Then I'm off to VA Med Center Louisville, KY.  After thirty minutes trying to find the right office and another twenty waiting for this girl she gives me a form to fill out which I do, she checks my driver license and says you'll get them in 30 to 60 days via mail.  Sixty days rolls by no records.  My anxiety is going though the roof but I give it some more time.  Another fifteen days roll by and I'm in Louisville for another appt., go back to the office and explain to the girl that it's been like 75 days and still no records.  She give me another sheet and we do the hole thing over again.  Another sixty rolls by and I'm like WTF? Over???  Couple of days later I'm back for another appt., I hit the office yet again, this time different chick.  I tell her I'm there to request my medical records and that this might be redundant because this makes the third time that I've filled out this piece of paper and still no records.  Her words, not mine, "yea she's been out, things have been pilling up on her desk".  Wow, thought I was going to lose it.  I was like it's been like five months already!!!  I mean I'm not requesting these because of lack of reading material.  I need them to file a disability claim.  She said oh honey I'll take care of this one myself.  Finally after another couple of weeks I got my records.  Then I got started on my claim and that's a whole nother story.

Back to the comment cards.  Remember I always fill one out and I did for the day of the trash.  Couple weeks later I got a call from some patient advocate trying to explain that they are doing renovations and people are going everywhere and this and that etc...  All I said was look, it's no skin off my teeth, I'm was just trying to let you guys know.  I mean we're not talking about a side door or back. It's the freaking main entrance, the front door that everybody sees.

Bottom line, the VA does not need to be in Health care, AT ALL.  Period.  Close them down.  All of the hospitals, clinics everything related to health care.  If the buildings are VA owned turn them over to the states and let them make shelters or low income housing out of them.  If not owned pay off the lease and take the lose, we'll save money in the long run.  Keep just enough employees to audit the health care system.  Other employees should be transferred to other branches, if they don't want to move then they lose their job.  Period.  Veterans should receive a card much like a Medicare card or a Medicaid card.  Vet gets the cards, finds a Doc that accepts it, goes, services are rendered just like you went to the VA.  I am on a means test, which means my health care depends on my house hold income.  Nothing is "free" unless you're service related disability is the issue or you're dirt poor.  I owe the VA about a grand right now and write them a check every month.  Just look at the new hospital going in Denver. It was supposed to be a couple hundred billion dollars and it's over a Trillion with a T now.  Think about it people!
