The Army

This is what is wrong with the Army now days.  I enlisted in 1989 and was active until 1992.  Went back in, in '05 and was at Ft. Knox until '09.  Big, Big difference in Soldiers attitude and discipline.  No, I'm not bitching about these guys doing yoga.

I'm bitching about their uniforms.  Some have shorts, some have pants.  Some have head gear, others do not.  Some have PT Belts, others not so much.  Long sleeves/short sleeves.  PT Belts around the waist, PT Belts diagonally across the chest.  Absolutely no uniformity.

But this is just a symptom.  When I first got to Knox in '05, I told myself, "this ain't no military post".  I mean on post housing was trashed.  Children's toys all over the yards, trash cans on the street three days after pick up.  Grass not being cut, I mean a Freakin Post full of Privates and open parade fields and park areas not being cut.

People, I love the Army, always have, always will.  I'll always be a Soldier but we gotta get back to discipline.  Back to the basics.

Part Of My VA Story

Here is my VA story, not so short and not so simple.  I know it's starts with the Army but truth be known, Soldier didn't go to the Doc (at least not back when I was raised in the Army) unless he was dead.  Unless of course he wanted to be belittled or get some crap detail.  Yes, I sad crap because I would like this to go viral and it needs to be clean.  So to start, why does this woman still have a job?  She just took a plea deal from the Indiana State Attorney General for a 90 day suspension of her social workers license.  I didn't read anywhere that she is suspended without pay (like that would be good enough anyway) because you know the UNION is not going to allow that.  But that is not my point with this post.  I just want to tell my story.  However, she/they are part of the problem and I wanted to bring it up.  Enough said.

I started complaining about my legs in 07 (I enlisted in '89)  but one can't blame everything on the Army, I love the Army. I always have, I always will.  Now, between '92 and '05 I have had a couple of breaks in service and in '07 I had or thought that I had (not so sure now) some really bad prostate problems at the time.  I mean the hole time my legs were going numb and it felt like somebody was in side of me cutting their way though that spot between my Johnson and you know what.  I was always told, what do you want fixed. Immediately  my response was, I want this knife to stop cutting me!!!  Then it comes to me being in the shower one morning (you know, those 40 seconds as a Drill that you get before you go to work) and I there was a lump.  That scared me.  I went in, talked to the Boss and said hey gotta go to the Doc.  Doc said yep, you gotta tumor and its gotta come out.  I was like OK, so what's the next step?  When's the biopsy?  His words, "Oh, no biopsy, testicular cancer moves to quick, we just cut them out".  True story.  I said no, they did a second ultrasound and decided not to, I still have them both incase you are wondering.

Legs still Jacked up by the way, no one wants to listen.  I'm mid way into '09 and I'll be honest I was off active duty doing nothing but looking for work and fell asleep on my couch with my legs on the coffee table and man, I got up and they just hurt.  I mean like I just did a 20 mile road march and yes, I do know what 20 miles humping 100 pounds is.  Next night in the bed but same thing.  Third night, I could not move my legs, AT ALL.  Thankfully my bathroom was right off the bedroom because I had to roll myself off the bed and drag myself to the toilet, then pick myself up.  All of my battle buddies were gone by then and couldn't call my ex, she'd just laugh.  It took about three days for me to get my legs under me in order to drive myself to Louisville VA.  To proud to call for help, as long as I could drag myself.  My first time at the VA, I think it took me about two hours to get from BFE parking to the ER.  The good Doc examines me and sends me home with a script.  Needless to say, all of those pills went down the toilet.  Yes people, I'm sorry but I tried one and I just can't do pills.  However, they do send me home with an appt. for an EMG.

So I get to the EMG and nothing, they don't find anything wrong.  OK, no big deal it's just in my mind and they are "getting" better just not full functioning.  Yeah, whatever.  By this time, I'm back in the USAR (just one, one of the reasons why I hate the Guard/Reserves) my 1SG tells me no problem, if we need to come get you, we will.  Not gonna dime him out, but if I need to I will.  We're talking about two hours one way.  In the same time frame they gave me not one but two flu shots and wanted me to do a PT Test the next day.  I said OK, I did 11 and 11 and had myself a nice 2 mile walk.  Since then.....  They busted me from Staff to a Pvt but that's neither here nor there.  Back in '06 I broke my wrist and right pinky in Combatives class.  I hate Army medicine so bad it took me three weeks to go the doctor and then only when it got to the point where I couldn't open a door.  They stick me in a "munster" cast and send me home with the 800mg of IB.  The cast immediately came off (damn that thing hurt) and after three weeks of showing up at OT doing stupid exercises I said, "yep, all healed, all's good to go".  I bring this up only because the Army diagnosed me with Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and as of 2014 the VA says, nope, no CTS found.  BTW, the pinky was never set and the bottom joint is as big as the knuckle and constantly locks up.

So the pain is getting so bad, both physical and mental.  I can't even sleep with my wife without the beating her down during the night due to the nightmares.  Constant fighting in my sleep, waking every hour or two with night sweats/night terrors.  Between '09 and '12 I can't hold a job.  Nothing but a temp job here and a temp job there.  I'm self medicating with alcohol to kill the pain when I get off work.  I'm drinking when I'm not at work so I can sleep without nightmares.  I "had a dream" that I went into work one morning and hit a car in the parking lot.  I never got out of the car, just put it in gear and went home.  When I "woke up" I looked at my wife and said take me to the VA, I need to get cleaned up.  She packed my toiletries and a couple days of clothes in a 1989 model Ft. Sill "Red Leg" duffel bag and off we went.  After six hours of sitting in the ER waiting room they take me back to triage and send me home with an appointment for the Ft. Knox VA clinic two weeks later.  I went home, depressed and needless to say, I got drunk.  I didn't make that appointment, my health continued to fail and I have not worked at all since early 2012.  In March of 2014 I had a seizure.

This was my first and only "witnessed" seizure.  I don't know if I have had any before or after.  I say witnessed because my wife can spend 13 to 15 hours a day away from home do to work.  If she sleeps 7 to 8 hours a day then we have very little time to spend together on her work days.  Living alone, sometimes I really don't know.  I do know that I have missed time.  I do know that I have "woken up" in a different room.  It's very scary and hard to explain.  ALL 100% SOLBER.  I do know that since the seizure I have had multiple issues addressed by the VA.  I say addressed because I have an open VA disability claim and the doctors that I see will not or can not give a diagnoses.  In late March of 2014 I started working on a disability claim for the SSA and the VA.  Both of which I've had to do by myself and with the help of my wife.

SSA.  My wife drove me down to the SSA office in Elizabethtown, KY to fill out an application.  We get down there and the wait wasn't to bad, only about 45 minutes or so.  However, when we do get a chance to speak to somebody, they say we needed X, Y, and Z.  Of which, we did not have and we needed to get it, but he suggested that we might want to do a phone interview as opposed to bringing everything down there with us.  I get a letter in the mail. stating time when the call would take place and Jo (my wife) ensures that she will be present for the call.  She does most of the talking.  Together we get the forms filled out.  A month later I get another letter stating that they need X.  Two months later I get a letter stating that they need Y, and so on.  Eventually, they denied benefits partially do because they made a decision on the fact that they don't have proper Army/VA records and the fact that they make a diagnoses on the basis that they can't get records for the eye doc that the VA sent me to.  Not that it matters, but denied again and now I have an attorney.

VA.  I should have started my claim in '92 but to be frank, I thought it was all BS and anybody that filed a claim of disability (without missing a limb, etc...) was full of nonsense.  I started mine after the seizure.  Understand that my last year of active duty, I worked with these people (VA reps) on a weekly sometimes daily basis.  I was lucky enough to be the NCOIC of the Ft. Knox a RSRP site and seen the VA reps that often.  Finally after the inability to work, I try to file a claim with the VA rep at Knox.  I was told can't help you.  Come see me when you have all of your med records, hard copy only, nothing digital.  I, of course, said who could expect anything less in this day and age of a paperless Army and a paperless government, right?  The wife and I go to IACH at Knox and file a request for med records.  They said about six months.  I had my those records in about thirty days.  She and I then go to VAMC in Louisville, KY to request records....  I was told 30 to 60 days.  Sixty days come and go.  I then show up at the records request office at the LVAMC and request the same records, at that point I was told, "she has been out and they are still on her desk", OUT, REALLY, FOR HOW LONG?????  But I filled out another request.  Long story short a total of three request I finally get my records.  That are incomplete, just so that you know.  Then I call the DAV.  In turn, they turn me onto the local DAV rep in E-Town.  His words, "Throw it away, I've been doing this job for twelve years, I've helped over a thousand Vets and their families, I know what's going to go though and what's not.  You might as well as put that in the trash".  At that point I decided to do it on my own, on the web.  Probably not a good ideal, because I just had no clue what I was doing.  Since then I have received three letters stating that my claim is important to them and it will be taken in the order in which it was received, lol.  And since then I have read one article where a woman's claim was finalized after 24 years and another after 17 years....   And since then.

The VA has told me I have degenerative bone disease, (as you were, the records state that I have) I need neurosurgery on my cervical and lumbar spine.  There are three to four vertebra that are limiting or have closed off SPF between my C-4&6 and L3-&7.  All due to alcohol.  They have also acknowledged bone lesions.  Due to alcohol.  I had to have a bone biopsy on my left pelvic bone.  If what they did to me then wasn't arcane enough wait to you hear about what they did to my eyes!  After sticking me in an out of this machine again and again (drilling), the main guy tells the other guy AND SAYS," we're just not getting it".  The other guy states, "well, look he's moving his leg", then they ask me if I can feel it??????????  Needless to say I said of course.  After talking to the doc ole boy reached up grabbed my IV and that was the last thing I remember until it was all over with.  Thankfully, soon after, my wife was at my bedside and took me home.  A couple of weeks later I meet with my Primary Care Physician (PCP).  My PCP (whom I LOVE) wasn't sure about what was going on so she suggested some more test.  I did the test and NP.  She gave me another referral to neurosurgery.  In the mean time I have this going on with my eyes and my mind.

I'll start with the eyes because it's the easiest.  I have never had a "real" eye exam my entire life.  I could pass my Army exams with 20/20 and had no problem.  But, by the time I got off active duty in '09 I could tell that we they were getting a little weak, not much but weak.  After the seizure I cold not see a thing.  I could see what I was seeing but my brain couldn't process it quick enough to make sense.  I would/still have to slow everything down so I can function.  I think I can read the eye chart and soon there after I can.  It's just a matter of what day and how long it takes me.   But when I had my first real "eye exam" it wasn't with the VA.  It was with Dr. Biszer's, a VA off site referral.  Yea, I don't mind diming you're a$$ out.  Dr. Biszers in Elizabethtown, KY told my wife, "wait till his glasses get here, he and sees what you look like, he may not be married anymore", (yep, that's what you got working for you).  I didn't hear, b/c if I did we'd be one less eye doc in the world.  At which point I only had been making up to six appointments a week to the VA.  Jo would always walk up to the eye clinic and ask if there was anyway I could get in any early.  You see, I can not see anymore and I definitely can not see colors and brightness kills me.  Without sunglasses, count me out, just can't open my eyes.  After three sets of glasses from the VA I still can't see.  I asked for transition lenses and got them but when I received them they did not work, when I took them back to the little "store" inside the VA hospital for glasses, I was told, "well, they don't work behind glass".  I asked, "how am I suppose to see how to drive"?  The response was, they don't work behind glass.  Now all that said, let me tell you about my eye exams.  Because to be honest with you, I don't have enough experience in the matter.  I have always had a good exam, never had a problem with my eyes.  At least when I did my Dr. Bizsers exam they did the gluclomo test and they just shot air into my eyes.  Unexpectedly, but that's all they did.  Six months later when I got to the VA they stuck this metal probe into my eyes.  Both of them!!!

They literally put drops in your eyes, take this metal probe, expect you to look at it while they poke you, No Stuff.  The eye "doc", who was doing this to me said you can't feel it, just hold still!!  I looked at the little college Co-ed who was doing this to me and said, "WTF, you have contacts, have you ever had this done to you"???  Her reply was no!  Maybe I should before I except you to do it?  You think, was my reply!  Last time I went to the eye clinic at LVAMC was in Feb of this year.  Again they poked my eye so bad that eye (no pun intended) could not see.  The day after my eye was watering so bad still could not see.  I "looked" at my wife and said no more.  You have to understand that the last person that my wife and I talked to was an optomolidgist and not an optometrist.  This guy looked right at me and said, "Well, you're not driving? You can't drive, I mean legally you can drive but morally you can't". EXACT WORDS!!!  The VA doc's can say stuff like this because they don't won't any responsibility.  You see, I have an open VA claim and they can not make a definitive diagnose.  Which I understand.  Same guy looked at me and said, "You're just an alcoholic, right?".  But what you need is a Nuero optomologist.  Even told me the best Nuero optomologist in the nation is from Lebanon Junction, KY.  Which is where I live now, just out side of Knox.

But you see people, I'm not a medical doctor, but just maybe, I mean just maybe, that there's something to be said about Gulf War Syndrome!  I mean, I can't even ask the person (that was) considered my best friend, closer to me than my brother, to admit that we took those pills.  We took "NAP" pills. Nerve Agent Pills, we did this because it was suppose to build our "tolerance" against nerve agent, the same thing SH was going to throw at us.  They lined us up, made us take them.  To ensured we did not cheek them, then when it was all said and done counted the ones we turned in...  They came in little foil backs, just like you could buy sutifedde, white front.  They read NAP Pills, Nerve Agent Pills.  We did this all the while burning human faciese and urine with diesel and Mo gas for months prior and then made our way back though the oil fields.

This is a difficult decision for me.  My plan was never to admit this to anyone but maybe I'm being selfish, and if it was then God please forgive me.  If that's the only thing He has to forgive me for than I am a lucky man.  For those of you that know me, for those of you that don't know me, you better never let me hear a word of this come out of your mouth.  If I hear one word of it, it'll be two in the chest one in the head day,,,,,  Just Saying!!!

I peed the bed.  I peed the bed every night from the minute they gave those pills us until the night that we moved forward. We were already on/at/in the boarder so it was not fear.  Or maybe it was, either way we were shooting.  I wasn't afraid of killing someone and I wasn't afraid of dieing.  I was afraid of someone would learned that I had peed "the bed" my sleeping bag.  My bag which laid on the ground.  My bag that laid on the ground and I was so very thank that the rainy season had ended (even though it was frezzing cold) that I could grab some (dry) sand, rub it in the bag pour it out and do it again before I had to go to OP.  I was glad that we had moved and had no time for bags, we had a poncho and poncho liners on the ground.  I did that until we got back down south.  It wasn't fear fear my friends, I'm not afraid of anything walking on God's Green Earth.  I'll take on any man walking; however, if you throw in some heights or a bee, you'll see me squeal like a 12 year old school girl.

Last summer I crashed on the couch for a bit, was fighting in my sleep and ended up kicking the coffee table so hard I thought I broke my foot.  It took two months for the mark to go away.  Just the other day, I was napping on the couch and had another nightmare.  Jo, was on the loveseat.  I woke up and she said, "I'm surprised you didn't break your hand".  Appearently, I had hit the table, it hurt, but would never admit to it.  I was like, yea, NP.  Constate nightmares, either falling/jumping out of a plane or war.  Doesn't have to be over there.  I can have them about Veitnam, never been there.  But falling, always.  Sad thing is, my Mother, God rest her soul.  I was just a kid we were living in Fayetteville, NC.  Seeing those muroon berets, man I just wanted one.  My Mother would say, "David, there's only two things fall from the sky and that's bird shit and fools. You are not either one of them!".   Sometimes, don't you wish you would have listen to your mother?  BTW, all due to alcohol.

So there I am last summer sleeping on the couch.  I wake up and my left chest is sore.  NP, right?  I fight all the time in my sleep and I just figure I hit myself (my wife beats me, please help).  I don't know maybe I fell asleep on the remote, you know anything.  Couple of days latter, still sore and I'm in the shower.  I'm soaping up and feel a knot on my left nipple.  I call the wife and she fells it  Yep, there's a knot.  So, I "secure message" the my health care team.  I one thing I can say good about the VA is this guy ALWAYS gets back to me.  But my message went something like, hey gotta be in there on Thursday can I stop by and have one of the nurses give me a breast exam?  I have touch many of boobies (I love boobies) but really I have no ideal what I'm doing, I don't know if this is something I should be worried about or not.  Instead of e-mailing me back, this guy calls me and says nope the Doc want to see you.  But listen, she is squzzing you in and doesn't have a lot of time so just that.  Let her check out and be done.  I'm like NP, I'm there anyway.  You have to understand that I'm poor and broke.  Haven't worked in a very long time but I still don't want to waste the VA's resources, I could have been just fine with a nurse checking me out.  The Doc comes in, does an exam and agrees there is a lump.  She give me a referral to get a mammogram.  That comes back as nothing but gynoplascimia.  Due to alcohol.  I mean I just gained thirty pounds in two months sitting on my butt.  Where is the weight going to go?  My tummy, my butt, and yes my boobies.  At my peak I was 168 pounds and then went to 119.  At that point I was back up to a buck fifty and had nothing to do with alcohol. 

I have problems speaking, I know what I want to say just can't get it out.  I can talk to my wife just fine.  I can talk to my therapist or so I think.  I have memory issues, both long term and short term.  I can not spell, count, or throw.  I walk with a cane.  All due to alcohol.  I was a Drill Sergeant in the US Army and could do all these things.  Very well, I might add.  I wouldn't call myself Einstein but I would like to call myself a little bit smarter than the average bear, before the seizure.  I once ran twenty miles because my Section Chief (Go Staff Trott) told me I couldn't.  I have five rolls of Ribbons on my Uniform along with two sets of Wings and a  DS Badge.   None of that means anything to me any more.  What I want, what I would like is someone to tell me why I can not walk with out a cane.  Why I can not see. Why I can not count, etc..  I would like someone to tell me why I cannot speak without thinking about what I'm going to say three days in advance.  What I want is the ability to get up and go to the latrine without thinking about left right, left right.

Besides all of the physical issues that I have (Due to alcohol) we come to the mental health of the VA.  The first person I meet outside of the hospital was a VA mental health social worker.  Eventually I realized that I could get on line and get my records (or at least some of them).  Well, this chick went on and on about how I praised her when it came to her "turning me on" to my shrink.  When I meet the good doctor all was fine.  Then I meet another VA head shrinker.  His words to me were, "We only have thirty minutes, what do you need from me?"............  Enough said on that?  I went along time without alcohol and I'm fine with that.  The gabapentin kills the pain spikes and I can live.  I can not sleep, at least not without nightmares but that's fine.  After 20+ years I guess one gets use to it.  I did recently talked to my main head shrinker on the phone.  My wife had a question for me and I didn't really know how to respond so I called my shrink and left a message for her.  She called me back on a late Friday afternoon, and her words to me were, " Call me back on Monday, you're drunk".  I mean really, she was my last hope.  Since then I cancelled all of my VA appointments.  I just can't deal with it anymore.  I loved my therapist, I really did.  She was a ray of hope for me, but I'm so tired of people telling me it's due to alcohol..........

I cancelled all my remaining VA appointments, including the surgeries.  One would think I could type up a quick paragraph and post it.  Truth be known it takes a good day to type one out.  Mainly because of my mental status but also my wrist.  I just can't sit and type, they lock up on me.  They hurt if I move them, they hurt if I don't. Due to Alcohol!!  I have a lot more to say but it took me two weeks to write this, if I continue then it'll be another seven months.

Anti-Gay Law?

So Indiana passes a Religious Freedom Law.  IN is taking some heat over this BullShit.  The NCAA is even talking about not bring back the tournament.  It's a sad state in America for us to even be having this conversation.  What in the hell happen to Freedom?  I mean when a bakery gets sued because they choose not to make a cake with two dudes on top is simply outrageous.

I don't give a shit if you're a white supremeness and you choose not to serve blacks in your coffee shop or deli or movie theater for that matter.  If it is your property, your business, cater to who ever in the hell you want.  The market will and should decide.  It's really easy folks, if they don't have enough customers then they'll go out of business.  I don't know about other people but I don't want to be where I'm not welcome or even if I don't feel welcome.  I'll take my dollars elsewhere.

It's no difference than all these smoking bans.  If I want to have smokers in my restaurant I should be allowed to so.  If you don't like the smoke don't come in.  And don't give me this nonsense, well it's about the employees.  Bull Fing Shit, they don't have to work in my bar.  There is another down the street.  And one passed that.  If they want to go non smoking so be it.  Mickey D's has done very well being that way for years.  BUT DON'T TELL ME I HAVE TO DO THE SAME!!!  My property, my business, keep your nose out of it.

I don't care if it's Fat people, Black people, Jewish people, it doesn't matter.  Again let the market decide.  The government should not force people to serve/cater to/employ people that they don't want to.

Women In Combat

I'm writing this in response to a thread that I have been following on FB.  First let me say that I love women.  Actually I am a woman, I just happen to be trapped in a man's body.  No comments from the peanut gallery please.  I have said it before, I am a lesbian.

Now as far as chicks in combat?  Absolutely not!  Sorry ladies but you don't belong there.  There are several reasons why, but I'll start with physical requirements.  However, understand that my bias is not only with women, if you're a guy that can't pull your own weight then I don't have any use for you either.  Period.   I was a Drill Sergeant in the US Army and I have trained Privates that I would not let cover my six.  Why?  Because Army standards are to low.  I have seen a Private fail a PT Test three times at the end of a cycle, watch the First Sergeant take that very same Private for a PT Test and pass.  It's Bullshit I know, but it's attrition, it's numbers, it's NCOER's and OER's.  They get rated on the numbers.  It's their careers.  Bottom line, if you can't pull my sorry ass out of a burning Bradley, I don't want you there.  But, back the women.

Basic physical fitness, basic genealogy, basic facts state that men are stronger than women.  However, when it comes to the Military, a woman of the same age as I am has to do less push ups than I (but gets the same pay).  A woman of the same age as I has more time to run two miles than I do (but gets the same pay).  Up until recently, a woman had to do less sit ups than I (but gets the same pay).  A woman is the only one that can go to the Doc and get a profile from PT or work for that matter when it's her time of the month.  That's one week out of four.  That's 25% of the time.  That's 26% more than I have time to worry if she can cover my six.

Now we come to relationships.  Men will be men.  Nothing more, nothing less.  If there is one thing that a man can not live without, it's what a woman has.  Now, I spent one too many months with a dude at an OP Site.  We were there 1300 to 1500 and 0100 to 0300, every day.  We volunteered for that shift because we got along and liked each other.  Needless to say we became close.  I think of him as my best friend. (Go Sgt. Rep)  I have told this guy things that I would not tell my shrink, or my wife for that matter.  Never once have I thought about going down on the guy, but if he was a chick???  Hormones start flowing???  You know what would happen.  I've already told you that I'm a lesbian.  I would have been all over her, and if the feelings were reciprocated, you know what would have happened.  When shit like that happens, NO ONE is watching the point!

Let me try and Barney it down so everyone can understand.  If I walk into a bar with a battle buddy and he gets into an argument, get punched in the face then I have his back.  Of course I'm going make sure that he doesn't;t get his ass kicked.  If I walk into that same bar with my wife/girlfriend and she gets thumped in the face, I'm going postal.  I would be jacking everybody up!!!  It is a natural instinct for a man to protect his woman.  Why?  Because she is weaker.  Now can two dudes develop the same kind of relationship?  Sure but it is a lot less likely.

All that said, Woman still have a place in the Armed Forces.  Just not in Combat.

The VA 1

Ok, I'm tired of defending the VA.  I will tell you that I am very grateful for the care that I have received.  I would like to blame No' Bama for this but realistically I can not.  Neither can you.  This goes far back before No' Bama.  Before Bush, Clit ton, Reagan.  Republicans and Demoncrats alike are to blame for the shape the of the VA.  We all know of the back logs and that made the news for a minute.  It made it all the way until another news story broke and very Congressman, Supervisor, Executive out there just took a sigh of relief.  And yet, these stories still come.

We have a woman, a mental health supervisor that thinks it's funny to send jokes to her employees about Veterans committing suicide.  Why does she still have a job????????????????????    WHY????????????

Now we have another woman, a regional director that just pocketed 288K for reimbursement expense.  SHE MOVE 140 MILES.  She already brings home over 181 thousand a year.  Plus bonuses, perks, and benefits.  When a Soldier moves, at best he is going to get someone in there to pack up his shit put it in a truck and dump it at his next duty station.  If he is really lucky and doesn't piss someone off he might get ten days temporary duty (TDY).  Which comes with per deim, for him/her self.  This chick got per diem for her and all of her family for God only knows how long.  That's a FUCKING PROBLEM.  Steve Westerfeld, a VA spokesman said it was appropriate.

This same woman received bonuses even when some of her units posted a backlog in claims.  At least one at a 300% increase.  She is taking over the Philadelphia regional office which is under investigation.  FYI, the local Union President urged the employees not to talk to investigators without a union rep.

First and foremost the VA should not be in health care.  If the People of this Great Nation think that I deserve some type of health care then let them give me a card so I can find it on my own.  That's the way it works for the poor.  I (meaning my wife) just don't happen to poor enough for one of those cards so I have to go to the VA.

Second, get the Unions out of the VA as well as all of government.  One of the saddest things I have ever heard was from my head shrinker.  We were in a group setting.  My therapist was talking to someone else and said she had use to get phone calls all the time.  One, two, three in the morning, she didn't have to worry about it anymore, the UNION won't allow it.  The first time I meet another guy, he interrupted me and said, "what do you need from me, we only have thirty minutes".  True Story.

Is there anything that George Bush can't be blamed for???  For Fuck's Sake I just saw No' Bama blaming Bush for iS, iS.  BTW is iS, iS still iS, iS?  I don't know, I tried calling No' Bama to ask the PC term for his battle buddies but nobody is picking up the phone.  I mean really people, I knew GW was blamed for the Kennedy assassination but I thought it would be a day or two before he got tagged with the fake moon landing.

I hate that word, "free".  More than I hate the "N" word, oohhhhh!!!!!  Free, when are people going to understand that this is not Star Trek?  You just can't walk to the wall and ask for a coke and all of a sudden "BAM" there it is!  Somebody has to pay for it.  So, let's talk about paying your fair share.  Think about it folks, we had a chance.  We had a chance to change things.  Six years ago we could have got the ball rolling and put an end to the IRS.  Now, because of No' Bama (your President) we have an additional 18,000 IRS workers.  Unionized workers that don't do anything but stick their noses (gov noses) in your finances and see if you are paying for health care and if you're not they issue fines. 

I'm all about "fair" share. Yes, we should all pay it.  We all want the police there.  When you go to the bank, the grocery store, or even work for that matter.  The world would be a lot worst if the po po wasn't there.  You want to drive on the roads, complain about it if they are not clear of snow/ice, complain more if you hit a pot hole.  So, yes, I'm all about fair share, but I want it to be a real fair share.  Let's kill it all.  I want to have a real "fair" share tax and here's how we do it.  Stop all income tax.

Kill the IRS.  Look at the amount of money we would save in wages and benefits.  Instead of the Federal Government paying the States, the States should pay the Feds.  They can do this by a "Flat Sales Tax".  It's really simple, If you want the CEO to pay his fair share, cut all the deductions that we now have with the IRS.  Because here is what happens.  If by some reason I'm driving down the street and I don't have food and drink with me and it's lunch time then I'll pull into Micky D's and grab a dollar cheese burger.  If the CEO is hungry then he checks his reservation list, jumps into a reasturant and pays $25 dollars for a sandwich.  Why?  Cause he can afford it.  If I go and buy a twelve pack of Budweiser, he may go buy two $300 bottles of wine.  People, we all pay taxes on our electric bills, water bills, etc.... If you want them to pay more just think about it.  I guarantee that it cost more to heat Al Gore's 7000 sq ft house than my 500 sq ft apartment.  If you want the rich to pay more so be it, kill the IRS and make a flat tax.

Flat tax is the only fair tax and reason why we don't do it is because we would have millions of people not getting their "earned income credit".  Stop the BS Welfare!!!

Air Force One or Blue Falcon

Air Force One was affectionately rename Blue Falcon in 2008.  That's when No' Bama was elected.  For those of you that don't know what BF means just ask a homeless guy.

No' Bama and his Hoar were both in Cali for separate television appearances. No' Bama was there to do a late night talk show (very important) and the CBH was there to do the Ellen show.  Now. I will tell you that Ellen was my very first heart break.  Man, I had such a crush on that girl.....    I can still remember the day she came out on her SitCom, I was like, but it's a SitCom right?  Not real, she's joking?  Well not so much!  But no big deal, so I'll never get up in dat.  Not the first chick that's ever lost out.  And since I'm married to the Love of my life, sorry girls but you're all missing out now!!!!

But here's my bitch, what's that cost?  I hear about $200,000 an hour.  Just for the Blue Falcon, two hundred G's an HOUR!!  Now what about the other 747 that the CBH traveled on?  What's that cost?  I don't know, I can't afford a 747 and never will, or can I?  I pay taxes and I was just thinking that maybe, maybe my tax dollars are paying foe these two airplanes.  So WTF maybe I can ride in a 747 just for me.....    

Sexist or Chivalry?

People, I have asked this question again and again but since it's in the news I'll ask it once more.  I'm sorry if you differ but that fact is we have a mUSLIM problem in this world.  Not in this nation but in the world.  The only way to eleviated the problem is to eradicate it.  mUSLIMS hate you they want you dead, if they say otherwise they are lying to you.  The kORAN tells them to do so.  So my the question is simple, since it's not PC to open the door for a woman any more or give her a light/jacket etc... and we have to eradicate this infestation, would it be Sexist or Chivalry if we line up all the mUSLIM woman and children and shot them in the head first?

Disrespectful, or not?  That seems to be the question with this photo.  I for one like it.  I think it shows love for Country.  A Country that has spent it's entire existence defending and protecting babies just like the one that you see in the pic.  I was not going to post on this because Lord knows everybody has an opinion on the subject and to be frank, I think I've expressed mine well enough.  So, we need to ask ourselves what the real question is.  Disrespectful or against the law?  That is the real question we face.

Fact.  It is against the law.  I won't share another link, you can google Title IV USC and read for yourself.  It's not that long and although I have read and studied it several times I could not receipt it verbatim.  Furthermore the Sailor that you see in the pic could and should be brought up on charges under the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

To cut to the chase, it doesn't matter how I feel about the pick.  We should ask ourselves what laws can we break and what law do we uphold.  To put this in perspective, you should not have American Flag T-shirts, bandanas, jackets, etc...  One should only wear the Flag on a lapel pin.  Now most of us break that law (I know I do, I am nor have I ever claim to be a Saint, ever).

So let's say you're driving down the interstate at 80mph but the speed limit is 70mph.  You have places to go so it's no big deal right?  Just the speed limit.  Everybody does it.  What if I'm walking though the parking lot at Wally World or your apartment complex, the park, or wherever.  I see some change in the console of your car and decide to help myself.  It's just fifty-three cents.  No big deal, right?  I mean really, it's just $.53 cents people!!!  Get over it.  We all steal or have stolen it the past.  It might be that pen you stuck in your pocket, your friends lighter, or that fifteen minutes at work that you should have been working but instead spend the time shopping online or doing brackets.

Ferguson

Two Police Officers were shot last night right out side of the Ferguson, MO Police Station.  This happened just after midnight during a "peaceful protest".  I have not heard their race but you know they are white.  As of now the city has not released their names, although I did hear that they were breathing and that their families were with them.

Of course the protest stems from the shooting of Michael Brown.  Let me be very clear.  If you try and take my gun, it's two in the chest one in the head day!!!  Brown was nothing more than a THUG.  He just got done robbing a store and assaulting the clerk when he was stopped.  He then proceeds to fight with the cop and goes for his gun.  What The Fuck do you except to happen???  So when one black THUG gets shot we have riots, looting, cops being made to stand down, an independent DOJ investigation, and all this escalates to Police being shot sniper style.  What we should have taken away from that and what we should be teaching our youths, is simple.  Obey the law.  Do what the police tell you to do for God's Sakes.  If you feel that you are being wronged, then fight the good fight afterwards.

Instead we have No' Bama and every other Racebater in the nation saying the "poor little kid" was killed just because he was black.  Holder was calling for the dismantling of the force Before his "nonbiased" investigation was over.  The same investigation that clear the cop of wrong doing.  Which BTW, took place after he was cleared by a Grand Jury!  Now, where do we go from here?  Cops have to stand down when "peaceful protesters" spit in their faces, call them names, set fires, and rob stores.  Two are shot, multiple assaults, and don't forget about the loony in NY with a machete!!!  So, Eric Holder, what do we do now?  Close the department?  Do we just let white cops police white citizens?  Black for black?   Mexican for Mexican?  Then what happens when a black family wants to move into a white neighborhood, tell them no?  Just incase you don't know that's against the law, you stupid race bating black son of a bitch!!!  Mr. Chief Law Enforcement Officer.  If THUGS are committing most of the crimes, they are going to get pulled more often and subsequently arrested more often.  Doesn't have anything to do with skin color.  Take your happy ass down to southeastern KY and see what color is in the jails down there.

Now for the cops.  I'm not defending your dumb asses either.  At least not most of you.  Nothing pisses me off more than to be watching COPS or some other TV program and see a guy/gal get pulled over because "they were weaving" or "failure to maintain a lane" or some other bullshit.  Oh look, there's a dude standing outside of a convenient store, that's "illegal activity".  And another thing slow the fuck down, just because you are in a cruiser doesn't give you the right to speed.  Yes, I do have first hand knowledge of screaming down the interstate at 95mph.  I used to work with a PO that boasted about not getting a ticket.  "When I get pulled, I just open my wallet (badge of course) and say, 'Officer, just to let you know I have my service weapon with me'".  Respect is earned.  It doesn't and shouldn't come with a badge.  When people see you break the law it doesn't make them want to follow it.

I watched this Bullshit press conference and I must say, I'm pretty impressed.  Not.  People I hate to say it but I'm a pretty good liar.  I can look you right in the face and lie, no problem no hesitation.

Here is the thing that I noticed.  Twenty-three years ago (23) I took a public speaking class.  A 100 level class and if I took one thing away from that, it was the use of crutch words.  Man, this chick (instructor) would stop you, belittle you and make you continue.  I wish I had paid attention at the very beginning but at some point I started counting.  For an answer to one question, one that I counted she use Uh or Ummm 21 times.  Twenty-one times!!!

Now she has been on the campaign trail my entire adult life, for decades.  As long as I can remember, she has been speaking to the public either for herself or her sexist, money grubbing, child rapist husband.  She knows how to speak in public.  And, for her to use Uh's and Umm's that many times for one question is remarkable.  People she is lying to you!!!!  She is a liar and she can not be trusted!!!

The VA.  Let me start by saying I've tried really hard to shut my mouth about the VA for a couple of reasons.  One, I get my health care from there and for the most part it has been exceptional.  Two, just like No' Bama everyone is on their ass and it's just to easy.  That said I'll be posting several times on the VA and I'll title them as VA, VA 1, VA 2, etc....   I'm not saying this for the people that regularly read my blog but for the ones that just happen to come across it, guess what peps, they're sequential.... So if you see one that says Unions 6 there are at least five more, just saying!!!

Ok this is Robin Paul, a person that I'll deem a CBH, Charlie, Bravo, Hotel, or the most derogatory term that you could call a female.  One, that I affectionately hold dear to my heart and usually reserve for my ex-wife.  This chick (and no C doesn't stand for chick)  works for the VA.  Not only does she work for the VA but she is a manager/social worker for a mental health clinic for transitioning Vets from combat to the world.

This is what infuriates me.  There she sits (cause you know her FAT ASS is sitting) on our dime, on a government computer, and instead of working she decides to belittle the very people that she should be helping.  She does this by e-mailing her very own people that she is in charge of, pictures of a vet/elf hanging himself.  She does this by e-mailing pics of a Vet with a sign stating need help out of meds, she does this while 22 of US kill ourselves everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND SHE IS STILL EMPLOYED!!!   GOD DAMN THE UNIONS.........

Started in Louisville, KY Publishers Printing Company (PPC) is now located in Shepherdsville and Lebanon Junction, KY.  According to their web site they have over 65,000 sq feet and 1400 employees.  They are the largest employer in Bullitt County, KY.  Bullitt Co. is just south of Louisville and I think the number is over 1500 now.  I'm sure by now you are expecting a complaint from me.  What some call complaints, I call fighting for the working man.  You see,  The Unions and I do have something in common (coughs, BS).

1)  They run 24 hours a day, in three shifts.  Employees show up, work straight eight and go home.  No problem, right?  Well, the problem is they do not receive a lunch break.  Workers get three ten minute breaks. They fall on the 2nd, 4th, and 6th hour of the work day.  KY law states that an employee must be given a 10 minute rest period for every four hours worked and a "reasonable meal period between the third and fifth hour".  Now you tell me, is 10 minutes long enough for you to leave a work station get, get to a break area, heat your lunch/grab a sandwich and a soda, inhale it, and then get back to your station before the "bell rings"?  And oh yea, Heaven forbid that you have to stop utilize the latrine and/or just wash your hands before you eat?  I mean it is a printing house but why would you want to get all that ink/dust/filth off of your hands before you grab a sandwich or a bag of chips, right?

2)  I have sat in the local City Council meetings and watch them vote to raise residential taxes on our electric bills by over 200% but in the same meeting refuse to raise PPC by the same amount.  They get away with this nonsense because they are the largest employer in the county.  A county that would have been in a world of hurt if it wasn't for Ft. Knox and better paying jobs in Louisville or other surrounding areas that people can commute to and still come home at night.

3)  How on earth do they (according to their very own web site) break labor laws 1400+ times per day?  How do they get a lower tax increase than I do?  I'm not talking about usage, everyone knows/realizes they should get a break there, but in taxes?  If I have to pay 3% in tax why don't they?  And everybody thinks that GW and those evil Republicans give corporations a break!!  Truth is the city owns the local water and I'm sure they use just a little bit over there.  But you see, those are records that I can not get at.  I have been down there in person several times, I have written formally (three times), I have talked to the City Attorney,  I have talked to the KY State Attorney Generals Office, I have talk to the KY Dept. of Labor.........

Absolutely nothing, but I'm not going to stop!  The blog grows everyday and soon the right person will see the words that I type.

Open Hunting On Bald Eagles?

University of California, Irvine, bans the American Flag in an effort to make the campus more “culturally inclusive”.  Now the executive cabinet of the Associated Students has overturned that ban.  However, now it goes back to the Legislative Council and with a 2/3rds vote, Old Glory comes down.  The original vote was 6-4, you do the math.

I really think these Shitbag kids need to read USC Title 4, depending on how the UC Charter reads they are coming very close to breaking the law.  I have no idea what California law states but I have researched KY's.  Our laws follow the USC on that one.  One might say WTF Dave, the law is the law and Federal Law supersedes State Law.  Yea you'd think but pot is illegal according to the Federal Government.

1)  I'm all about State's Rights and Freedom of Speech.  But I do think it's time for a Constitutional Amendment to protect our Flag.  I know similar issues have gone before the Supreme Court in the past and have been shot down due to the First Amendment.  But, that's why we have the system of checks and balances.  We can overturn the Supreme Court by passing a Constitution Amendment.  We need to protect our Flag and ensure that it is properly displayed.  The United States Code isn't doing the job.  Trust me, I know.  I can't even get the city that I live in (Lebanon Junction, KY) to light the Flag at night, "It cost too much".

2)  These students should loose all Financial Aid.  I mean all, no Pell Grants, no Federal backed loans, no State Aid.  Further more, California should loose all Federal funding slated for education.  Some of you may think that's excessive but it's been done in the past.  How do you think we got 55mph speed limits?

3)  This PC inclusive BULLSHIT has to go!  So we remove all flags.  Do we remove all plaques, paintings, statues, monuments because someone might get offended?   What about clothing?  Does that mean one can't wear the Puerto Rican Flag on a T-shirt?  What about the guy that walks around in African colors?  What about wearing a crucifix, mUSLIM dress, Jewish headgear?  Are we all going to walk around in white T's?  No we can't do that because we might offend Blacks.  So, do we just pick blue T's and take our chances of getting shot by the bloods?

4)  We need to get involved.  Below is a link to find your Senator and Congressman.  Write, e-mail, call him/her and tell them your thoughts and that you and your family vote.

One of my Favorite people, right there.  You want to talk white privilege?  There it is.  These Fucks think they can do anything and the law doesn't apply to them.  But one can't blame them.  You must blame yourselves.  Sorry, but every time you voted for them it just reinforced bad behavior.  Those of you that know me, have heard me say, Without Consequence There is Chaos.  And, one of life's best lessons, Past Performance is Indicative of Future Behavior.  Well, there you go.  You get what you pay for and you get what you vote for!!!  You gotta understand this has been going on long before this e-mail scandal.  I'm talking years and years.  Shit like this is how he got in the governors office.  And then reelected!!!  They're both lawyers doing as much illegal shit that they can get rich off of and get away with....

Then came the Presidency.  And, "I did not have sex with that woman".  And don't forget, "It depends on what your definition of 'is' 'is'".  The whole time I was saying, "If his wife can't trust him, what makes you think that you can"?  But Nooo, nobody wants to listen to a immature young man.  You see, I'm only seventeen, I have a fake ID so I can vote.  I got it so I could vote for Bush 41.  The latest is this e-mail scandal.

Now here's the deal.  As a Soldier in the US Army, I could not even put a Geek Stick (thumb drive) in a computer.  Information Security, Information Awareness, (IS,IA) is top priority.  You don't use outside software and you don't use outside hardware.  Period.  I have never worked for the Department of State but if it's like that in the DOD then I am sure it's like that in the DOS.  Not only as the Head of State has she use private e-mail but she is using a private server.  That's way past against the law.  Those e-mail are yours.  Fact, those e-mail are yours and you do not have access to them.  You might get them after a subpoena and only if she doesn't destroy the hardware.  All along she was screaming about Bush's "secret" White House e-mail accounts and hidden this and hidden that.  Fact is, she has hidden more than No' Bama and that's a lot.  The list would take me days to type.

But here is the kicker, and this is what got me on the computer to start typing.  Shit like this is what people will see and remember.  My wife and I are watching ABC World News Now.  It's about 0300 and one of the Co-Anchors, a Indian/Black/Dark Skin White Woman says, "You know how hard it is to separate your private contacts from your work contacts".  It's impossible you're always getting them mixed up.  "I think Microsoft should do a better job of making it easier".  Let's not say that she should not have been using "her" server for government business let's say it Microsoft's fault. She actually blamed Microsoft for this and thinks they should do a better job.  She is on a National Network that is broadcasted world wide.  No accountability for her actions.  None what so ever.  And people wonder why BW can just say that he was killed in Iraq and he is only with us Today because of the training he received with the US Army Paratroopers that taught him how to resurrect himself.

The "N Word" Part Due

This is why I hate this word so much!!!  A "FB Friend" of mine recently shared a video of a young black man driving down the street getting pulled over by the police.  His words were, "I can't believe this Nigga/Nigger is pulling me over".  It's was just a parody and when the cop got to the window ole boy was in the passenger seat, saying bla, bla, bla...

Transgender Thursday

Below I explain my point of view but to add to it lets hit North Carolina bill HR2.  I don't know how else to explain it but you can not have dudes hitting the latrine with chicks.  I'm NOT into it but I am the type of guy that would use this and other laws so I could watch women pee.  What's going to happen when some feels violated because some else caught sight of them?  Does that mean Micky D's gets a lawsuit?  You are opening a whole can of worms, that will lead to nothing but trouble!!!





WTF Over?  What in the hell did we just do?  Sometimes I feel like I'm in the Matrix going down the rabbit hole.  For those of you that do not know, we have a transgender student in Louisville, KY that gets to use the female restroom.  The school district and principle had a couple of debates and decided that this teenaged boy or boy/girl or whatever PC term you want to call him gets to go use the bathroom with your little girl.

This led to the KY Legislators picking it up and in a "highly controversial" vote in the KY Senate Ed Committee passed a bill.    "The bill would not force transgender students to use the restroom of their biological birth. But it would ban them from using the restroom of their gender identity instead requiring that the school provide them with a separate restroom."-lgbtqnation

First and foremost, why the fuck are we even talking about this?
Secondly, this just opened up a whole can of worms.  What is it going to cost to provide an additional restroom?  Is it going to be one?  Or, do we need one for TG boys and one for TG girls?  What happens when a gay man doesn't want to use the restroom with straight men, or vice versa?  So are we looking at one each, M/F, M/F TG, M/F GL?  That's SIX!!!  High Schools and Middle Schools can get pretty big, so do we need one per floor or wing?  How many lawsuits is it going to take to get there because a student soiled/urinated themselves trying to get to "their" restroom?  Then what about the Libraries, the DMV, the Courthouses?  What about handicap TG students?  What about all the buildings that are already built?  Do we make all restroom Unisex?  No offense ladies but I've cleaned many of restrooms/latrines in my day and I don't want to use yours.  Female restrooms are by far the dirtiest.  Y'all can be some nasty bitches!!
Finally, I don't want your teenage boy using the restroom/locker room with my teenage girl.  If I was in high school right now, I'd be TG.  Especially when it came to gym class.  Those little boys need to learn how to get their porn like me.  From the Internet!!!

DHS Funding

Here's my problem with this Department of Homeland Security funding bill.  Pass the Fucking thing!!  It is really unfortunate that we go though this BS every time the government needs funding.

First and foremost people need to understand that when Congress refuses to pass a bill because of what is in it, it not necessarily about politics.  It's call the system of checks and balances.  If Congress doesn't want to fund the President's policies they don't have to.  That's the way our government works.  That's why we don't have a Dictator!  Or a King!!  No one man can run the entire government thanks to our "Founding Fathers".  People, you need to educate yourselves.  Read/study the Constitution!!!  It's the law of the land.  When my wife (then girlfriend) and I moved in together, I had the Constitution hanging on my wall.  I don't claim to be a scholar, but needless to say I've read it once or twice.  I mean I only walked passed the thing twenty times a day.  Before the seizure I could damn near recite it.

So when No' Bama; by his very own words, breaks the law and disregards the document that our country was founded on, it is not only the duty of Congress not to fund his idiotic ideals but it is their obligation.  They swore an oath to up hold the Constitution.  However, ever since pELOSI got her dust collection box removed from being the Speaker of the House all anyone hears is, the Republicans are shutting down the government.  The Republicans are shutting down the government.  The Republicans are shutting down the government.  Fuck, it's like Chicken Little.  The Republican are not at fault, they just don't want to fund another one of No' Bama's illegal endeavors.  However, if you want to save money in the DHS, get the Unions out.  Get the Unions out of government, period.

You want Unions in the DHS?  I'll tell you what the real DHS is.  It's the DOD.  It's called the Department of Defense.  It's the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines that are standing on that wall.  Unionize their asses and see what that gets you.  Let one of their happy asses show up drunk in a combat zone and see how long they keep their job.  Let's see the DOD budget double when we have to double the size of the Military because a Sergeant tells a Private to cut the grass and he says, "nope, not in my job description" or you have to have twice as many to stand a post.  Let's not talk about overtime.  What's that?  Double time?  Holiday Pay??  Yea, right.  I've pulled countless 20/24 hour days.  Same as all the others out there.  You want Unions?  So do I.  It's called common sense people, unions do not belong in the government.  Unions don't belong anywhere anymore.  Those extortionist can kiss my ass!!!

Today is 1 Mar 2015!!!    Stop and think about that.             I mean yesterday was Christmas and the day before that I was 16 listening to my Mother say, "Just wait kid, you'll find out when you're older".  We spend so much of our lives thinking about the next big thing.  Saying I can't wait till Christmas or Summer break.  Waiting for lunch time, For God's Sake!!! 

Take the time people, live in the moment and not the moment to come.  Stop wishing your life away.  A friend of mine  Brother of mine once gave me a little poem.  (You know who you are, you piece of shit)  It was titled Happiness is a Journey, Not a Destination, I didn't pay much attention to it then.  Just like I didn't pay much attention to the wisdom of my Mother or any other elder that tried to steer a young mind in the right direction.

I've been a little ill lately.  I've have had as many as six doctor appointments in one week.  I was sitting on the couch the other day and looked at my wife and said, "you know what baby, it's not that bad, we still have a pretty good life".  We have food, don't go hungry.  We have clean cloths, have a roof and four walls.  Truth is, I married up.  She doesn't have any money but works her ass off every day to support my ass.  She puts up with way to much of my BullShit, some of it my fault, some of it not.  I'll lie and say most of it not.

So as I sit here in my "White" privilege.  Sit here in my "Male" privilege.  Sit here in my "Vet" status privilege.  Waiting for the government to decide if I deserve the forty cents a day that disability will afford me, I'm crammed in a 500 sq ft apartment waiting for the next few hours to pass so I can go out and start my car so the nine year old battery won't die because of the cold.  And Oh Yea, the drivers door won't open, and a long list of other complaints, I feel good about the future.  Why would I not?  I have every thing that I need and a beautiful wife to share my trials, tribulations, and wonderful moments of life.  JUST STOP.  WHEN LIFE HAPPENS, THINK OF SOMWTHING THAT MAKES YOU LAUGH!!!   CARPE DIEM....

BTW Jo, Halloween isn't until October.
