UAW or Jonestown

I know most of you think I'm the Devils gift to the Union but not so much.  I know and/or have known several decent, hard working unionized American citizen.  I've also known some communist and socialist in my day.  The difference in my opinion would be common sense and the willingness to "see the light".  Again, I do believe unions had their place when Morgan, Carnegie, Rockefeller, etc... ran all of the industry in the nation.  Today,  Unions just raise the cost of everything, run companies out of town, and increase your taxes.  Those are the FACTS and no matter how hard you try they can not be disputed.  For this post I would like to concentrate on the UAW and all of It's glory.  I know a guy that works for them.  For the sake of his job, we'll call him Richard, Richard Cranium.  Just cause the name fits.  I ran into this guy the other day and was asking him about all those good union benefits that he has.  He started to name all the things the company offers to the employees (health, dental, life, etc...) and I said "no man, the things that are directly from the union you know, the magazine, Black Lake, and such".  He didn't know what I was talking about.  So I will elaborate here.

A) Solidarity Magazine:  It's published every other month.  Comes from the UAW and is supposed to cover the how, what, when, where, and why of the union.  Up until last July it  was published and MAILED to all of its members.  He never seen it.  During the convention in June they voted to print it but only mail it on request.  BTW, the was vote done not by members but delegates.  Eleven hundred of them in one room by yeas and nays.  When the yeas and nays were close they hand a good ole fashion hand raising.  In a room with 1100 Joes.  Who the Fuck counted and how long did one have to keep his/her hand up?  Just a thought.  They also voted to raise union dues 25%.  I've never read the magazine but I hear it has some great golf tips.

B) Credit Card:  Everyone needs a good credit card but one would think that maybe your union wouldn't fuck you.  I'm rounding up but the rates are 13-21% and some of the cards come with a $35 annual fee.  I've had Citi Bank cheaper.  That said I can't just ream the union. You should know me by now I like to give credit where it is due (no pun intended).  The card does come with a strike benefit.  Wow, Strike benefits with a union?  Go figure.  It's a one time grant of $300 for a union authorized strike.  Then I had to remind him that the union gave up his right to strike during the No' Bama hand out to the unions.  He has a no strike clause in his "contract".

C) Black Lake:  Did I mention golf?  I love golf.  The UAW has a GREAT golf resort, I mean educational facility.  It's a place they can bring everyone up have some classes, maybe a conference or two.  Great place for fee.  Fee?  Yeah, but hang on we are talking about the union here.  They have scholarships or better put a family scholarship program.  While you're off doing union business here is what your family will be doing.
4 to 6   year olds:  creative activities that teach the basic function of unions
7 to 11 year olds:  Activities that teach the values of union membership
12 to 15   yr olds:  enjoy a schedule filled with union involvement workshops
16 to 18   yr olds:  are included in the adult program to help prepare them to enter the workforce

Adult programs to help... I thought union workers were already in the.... Never Mind.

Simply put, this reads like a reeducation camp.  Plainly, the Nazi socialist would love the guy who thought of this non-sense.  I actually said Holy Shit when I read it.

Unions 4

Why don't these people print the study with this article?  All this thing says it will cost 4 Billion to Wisconsin families and a couple hundred million in state revenue.  Sorry folks, I don't by it.  The way I see it is you have the unions that bleed these companies dry over years and years.  Look at my earlier post about the Pillsbury plant in southern Indiana.  That plant has been there for 50 or 60 years.  I don't know when the union got there but you know it was, "let's milk um".  And every time "contract" negotiations came up, the union could say, "look what we got you, another dollar on the hour" or "see there's another 6.5% that you would have lost without "your" union".

Now Pillsbury is hauling ass.  They're packing up and moving to a place where it is more economical to do business.  This little town in Indiana is busting their ass trying to get them to stay, so far they have came up with 7 mil but that's a drop in the bucket to Pillsbury.  Again, last time I checked, THEY ARE IN IT TO MAKE MONEY!!!

Now, you have all these people that cry about how much the CEO makes or these Hugh corporate profits.  People need to understand if you have some type of retirement (401k, IRS, etc..) they are invested in companies like this.  The company does well so do they.  If the Freakin company loses money so do they.

BOTTOM LINE: THE MARKET SHOULD DICTATE SALARY AND BENEFITS, NOT THE UNION.

Woman slices her children's throats.  OUR SYSTEM HAS FAILED YET AGAIN
My thoughts and prayers go out to these children.  We have to look at ourselves and realize  we have failed.  No' Bama care should have seen this woman was sick and sent her to treatment.  Maybe it was unionized health care workers or just people not caring but this could have been avoided.  Regardless of who to blame, this would have never had happen if she did not have access to a knife.

Think about it.  Knives are banned on airplanes and people fly everyday.  People eat, sleep, work, utilize the latrine, all without having access to a piece of equipment that can be use as an edged weapon.  There is no down side to prohibiting knives in our society.  Look at the economic impact it would have.  By only allowing properly train chefs to have knives most people would go out to eat.  We would have to employ workers to build and maintain new restaurants.  New chefs and wait staff all would be new jobs available.  The government coffers could be full with all the new tax revenue.

Where's The Money?

Help me out with this.  Why are these people crying about No' Bama's stimulus plan?  I mean he gave away Billions. He is suppose to be Robin Hood, is he not?  What happen to all those "shovel ready" projects that were to help the "working class" immediately?

The article below explains that most of the money (in Florida) went to the mean rich people while the bottom 99% seen their wages decline.  It goes on to say FL depends on tourism and construction for their economy.  Now, I have flipped a ton of burgers in my time.  As well as swung some hammers (never well BTW).  Nothing against the hard working Joes out there or the fast food workers but we all must understand the vast majority of these jobs are low wage, entry level positions.  If one chooses, they can learn, become more proficient and efficient in the career field and move up the chain and can make a decent living.

Many jobs and fortunes have been created by doing the hard nasty work that nobody else wants to do.  Working their way up the ladder or just breaking off and starting their own thing.  Odds are one is not going to start at Mickey D's and in five years have their own.  It simply cost to much.  However, you can put in your 80 a week and open the local mom and pop shop.

The point to all of this is you can not give everybody wealth.  It must be earned.  At least on the grand scale.  If you give everyone a million dollars Mickey D's will no longer have the dollar menu.  They will have the million dollar menu.  That is a fact.  So when people start crying about wealth and where it is located remember this.

You can not have good with out bad, day with out night, rich with out poor.  If we did we would not know it.  There would be no difference.  The last time I looked around I did not live in  Star Trek.  Here, people pay for food, housing, recreation.  If we did not there would be no incentive.

Ok here we go.  If you think I'm kidding look at this.  People are being arrested for passing out pamphlets on public property.  Why?  Because it's close to the mUSLIMS and they don't like it.  Now we have a woman that is suing Dearborn PD in MI for making her take off her haibibaj or what ever the hell you call it, (I call it head gear and after seeing this chick I'd probably pay her to keep it on).  during her in processing/arrest/incarceration for warrants and driving on suspended.  But, the PD violated her "western" constitutional rights by making her take it off.

OK, below are a couple of links to some stories about unions.  I know people believe in the "union".  Why, I have no idea but it seems in my 42 years on this earth one either loves them or hates them.  Me, I hate them, with a passion.

You would not believe some of the replies and e-mails I get over this.  The first link is about the Pillsbury plant in New Albany, IN.  People need and "should" understand that after years and years of the unions bleeding a company dry, eventually they will move or go out of business.  Unions raise the cost of EVERYTHING, lower production, and YES cost jobs.  Unions had their place back in the day. You know, back before we had eight million government agencies to oversee and regulate how people can drink water.

1) People complain about how much the CEO/COO's etc... make.  Here's a thought.  Stop buying the product.  If you are going to cry because the CEO of Delta makes X, then fly American.  If the company doesn't make a profit, the board will rectify the situation.  If you have a problem with how much money they all make, then become a CEO.  That's the thing about America you can do what ever you want.  You may have to go to school, you may have to start at the bottom, you may have to start your own gig.  But to begrudge someone a living just because you think it's to much money is CHILDISH and not very Christian like.

2) No one complains about the UNION leadership making tons of cash off their backs.  I mean just check out the UAW.  Those guys have it made with that golf resort.  They pull down hundreds of thousands off the back of their very own workers and nobody cares.  The UAW needs more money, they raise dues.  It seems to me that if the unions main concern is workers pay and they needed more money they would be working on raising the workers wage since they TAKE a percent.  Instead they just TAKE a larger percent.  All the while they can spend 30-40 million in dues for a conference.  FOR ONE WEEKEND.

3) Demoncrats, unions, and overall uneducated people alike cringe when someone says "Right To Work".  I wonder why?  Why would anybody say you have to join a group and pay me money in order work here.  Man, that's the gig I need.  I need to be able to say to people go down the street get a job, go to work every day, and at the end of the month stop by here and give me 2 1/2 hours of your pay.  The reasons they hate right to work is no one would join the union.  The unions would dissolve.  There would be no unions to line the Demoncrat coffers.  Less Demoncrats  would be in office and the stupid people believe that the Republicans would pass laws against them reproducing.  I do believe that making people join a union in order to work is unconstitutional and I really hope that some time in the near future it will get settled.  In the mean time, in Hardin County KY we have the AFL/CIO suing because they voted the county right to work.  It needs to get settle soon because the last link is about Volvo building a plant there.  If they don't have to worry about the UAW dictating what they have to do, HC just might have a chance to get the plant.  I have many more but I'll save them for a different post.

I've read the kORAN or qURAN cover to cover twice. Once in the early 90's. Why? Know thy enemy. Once last year. Why? The library had it on the shelf and in large print (since I can't see anymore). And, KNOW THY ENEMY. Anyone that says it does not preach hate, killings, and the rest of the BS the freak chicken shit bastards are doing is either not a mUSLIM, have not read it, or simply lying. The damn thing orders the reader to lie, then kill you, take your wife to make more mUSLIMS.  There are a thousand pic's I could post and thousand stories to go with them.  The point is they will behead, blow up, stab, shot, and/or stone you, me and the dog named Blue if we don't convert to mUSLIM.  That's if they gave us the chance.  Could be like the 2700 in the Towers.  Or like a handful of Soldiers waiting for the Doc.  Maybe like a father and daughter at a café in Jerusalem just trying to grab some lunch.

There is only one way to fix the problem.....  In the mean time grab some popcorn because they are about to take the heads of (I'm assuming) two very scared Japanese men.

Man, do I have a lot to say on this subject.  I have to get this off my chest quickly so this will be short.  I'm not gonna dime anybody out but.....  It seems we have one in Louisville that would not; I say again WOULD NOT help me on my disability claims.  After they/he said no and "to file my appeal anyway and call them in six months".  ??Appeal? By myself? What did that get me the first time?

But that's not why I'm typing.  I just got home from an all day excursion screwing around with some of these guys.  I check the mail and guess what?  I have a card from this particular attorneys office sign by the whole group, so it seems.  Hold one, let me check this thing hanging on the wall.... Yep, it reads 5 January.  At least it's not a Christmas card.  IT's just a seasons greetings and holiday season type of thing.  Don't want to offend anybody now do we Sir?

So Colonel, since you would not help me when I asked, please keep you e-mails, your flyers and your not one but TWO LATE holiday cards with refrigerator magnets.  The sucker you are representing has to pay for that shit that I now have to throw in the trash.

Ever wonder about C SPAN?  Well if you know me, you know that I can't keep my BIG nose out of anything.  C SPAN just pisses me off.  The Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network (C SPAN) claims to be a non profit org that receives no government funding.  Wouldn't that be nice?  I have to do some more digging but they claim to receive all funds from cable and satellite companies that carry their content.  Here is some history.

Began in 1979, Expanded to 24 hours in 1982, Launched C SPAN 2 in 1986, Launched C SPAN Radio in 1997, 2001 came C SPAN 3, and now we have the C SPAN Bus.  I don't know when Audio Now came about but if you dial 202-626-8888 you can listen to C SPAN Radio 24/7.

C SPAN was/is devoted to carrying the House and Senate without interruption.  They started with 4 employees and now have over 3000.  Who pays for this?  If you have cable or satellite apparently you.  I'm trying to find out if there are any government mandates for these companies to carry the programing along with government grants along the way.  Also, I would like to find out if there is a way to drop the channels and reduce my cable bill.  I'll get back to you on this.

C SPAN was created to carry the House, C SPAN 2 the Senate, C SPAN 3 all the other BS in Washington.  Radio?  I don't know.  Maybe they are like me and just want to hear themselves talk.  If it was up to me I would shut all of that non sense down and just keep it on the net.  It's there anyway.  That said if I had to keep them running, one could very easily cover all of the material on one channel.  It may not all be live but do we really need to watch an empty floor for forty minutes waiting on a handful of votes to come in?

Now back to the internet.  Some may say not everyone has internet access.  I call Bullshit.  OK, not Bullshit but MEGA BULLSHIT!  Why you say?  Well let me tell you.  It's called universal tax.  You have been paying for it since Billy C and Al (Mr. Internet himself).  It is on every land line phone bill.  It was designed to put cable in the classroom so "all" students could have access.  When that was achieved the tax was never repelled.  So you don't have a land line, neither do I.  You may say HA, I'm not paying for it.  What about that gas station you filled up at this morning, do they have a phone?  Does the grocery store you picked up that loaf of bread have one?  Mine does and the last time I checked those assholes were in business to make money.  Damn them.  They pass that cost right on to me like it's the proper thing to do.  So we have cable in the classroom and the library.  Everyone has access to the library the for the internet, not to mention the unknown number of free WI FI hotspots around the country.

Leave it up on the net, shut everything else down and save the money.  We spend money like it's a drop in the bucket.  Enough drops and they bucket over flows.  Right Now "WE" could fill the Atlantic.  As always, more to follow.

Happy Thoughts

With all of the BS that's been going on with me lately I thought it would be nice to share some good vibes......  Think Positive!  My wife, God love her, saved her butt off to buy a new TV.  So she saves and on Thanksgiving she stood in line for two hours at Wally World to spend her $200 on this 50" that I thought was to good to be true.  I was there but I get to ride in the "geriatric" carts so I don't mind the wait.  Earlier this week we went to the library for some movies (I can borrow them for free) and I picked up the first Star Wars.  I look for the second and third but to no avail.  I have seen the movie before but never in hi def .  Our old TV was 780p and we never knew the difference.  Needless to say when old boy was fighting with the light saber it was kick ass.

Now for the good shit.  The Movie was the trilogy.  All three movies on a new TV.  What more could a helpless soul ask for?  On the way home Today I got a call from the VA.  Bone biopsy and some other test came back OK.  No bone cancer!!!  Still don't know why I'm growing lesions but at least they are not malignant.

See, Good Stuff Can Happen.  So for all of you Republicans out there, have a Coke and a smile.  All of you Libs/No'Bama voters... Just shut the Fuck Up.

This is a "chat" message that I received on Facebook this morning.  It is from Tracy Daniel, my ex- wife, or at least it read Daniel.  I don't know what she goes by now Daniel, Gajewski, Coridon, her first married name or any other guy (that I truly feel sorry for) that she has married since me.

 

Am I behind in child support?  YES.  Do I feel like a true ass bag for not paying?  ABSOLUTELY.  Here is some of my story:

 

I am BROKE.  Mentally, Physically and yes Financially.  I am disabled.  I have been unable to hold a steady job since I came off active duty in 2009.  I have not worked at all since 2012, trust me I tried.  Since I had a seizure in March 2014 I have had four CT Scans and three MRI's along with a multitude of other tests all covered by the Louisville VAMC.  God bless them, I would really be up the creek without each and everyone there.  I am there up to three times a week, 70 miles round trip all covered by my wife Jo.  God bless her, she didn't sign on for this.  She didn't say let's marry an old Soldier, move down to KY and support him.  I am waiting on SSA and the VA to decided if I meet their criteria to receive benefits.  Social Security has already denied me once and has determined that my "condition" is not severe enough to keep me from working.  Even if I can not preform past duties I can find "substantial" work with gross earnings of $1070 per month.  My child support to Tracy is $325 per month and yes, each month the arrears grow.  At one point, between child support and spousal support I was ordered to pay over $922 per month as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army and was not behind.  Since our separation I have given her Tens of Thousands of dollars.  I just got done doing eight days in jail, the first four of which was in the hole at Bullitt Co due to my "condition" before they transferred me.  I have been in contact with the Fayette Co attorney and it looks like I get to spend another six months in the hole until they release me and the arrears grow and they put me back in jail.

Now here is some of her story:

 

When I was still active I signed over a $21,000 check to her.  Not a week had passed and she called my Commanding Officer and said she didn't have enough money to take my baby (God bless you too, I love and miss you so much and I truly hope you never see this) to the dentist.  So there I am "standing on the carpet" in the CO's office answering why.  I said and I quote, "excuse me Colonel" I pulled my cell out of my pocket and proceeded to play a conversation Tracy and I had over the same subject.  During which, I asked Tracy about the 21 grand and she replied, "that money is in my new savings account and that's where it's going to stay".  I have several of these recorded along with a couple of hand written child support receipts.  These conversations may not be admissible in court but they all have the little beep so people know they are being recorded.  I do this because of the type of person she is.  We are talking about a woman that keeps a Christmas card list.  Not a list of who to send cards to but who not to send.  So if she sent you a Christmas card this year and you did not send her one, she will not, I say again NOT, send you one next year.

 

I live in a very small 500+ sq ft apartment, rent is $425 per month.  We have an open kitchen and living area with a bedroom and bath off to the side where my wife can go in, shut the door and sleep during the day after working all night.  We have basic cable, the bill is $17 plus taxes and fees per month.  We have no land line or internet access.  I use the library, Mickie D's, etc...  I did an entire VA disability app there.  We have two cells between us that cost $55 per month (for both) after taxes and fees, thank you Wally World Family Plan.  We eat shit like beans, rice and boxed hamburger patties.  And don't forget the ramen, I plan meals around them.  All paid for by wife.  Yes, I feel like a real man by allowing this to happen.

 

So to answer your question Tracy.  I don't know when I am going to pay you.  I guess when God decides to give my body back to me or the SSA and VA decides in my/your favor.

 

Want to know what kind of woman Jo is?  She said, "let them garnish my wages to keep you out of jail".  That's either Love or Foolishness, possibly a little of both.  Fayette Co attorney said no.

 

Now here is my question.  Am I a dead beat dad?  I think not but you decide.
