And Hate Begat Hate....

Alright, here's my two cents.  This is guaranteed to piss some people off.  However, I truly gives a DAMN, if you want to be an ignorant racist, then so be it.  But, we are going to learn just a little bit of history here.  Again, if you don't like it, I gives to less of a FUCK!  The truth is the truth!!!

I am so sick and tired of hearing how the white man had slaves.  "WEs only three generations from chains".  Really you dumb ignorant Bastard.  That's 45 years, sixty at the max.  So let's do a little arithmetic (that would be math or some adding and take away for the really stupid FUCKS reading this), 2017 minus the 60 years. Yeah, that puts us right about 1861, or 64 or 65 doesn't it???

FUCK FUCK FUCK..... Damn I've been writing and rewriting this for so long just trying to be all PC and all.  But it's just not in me.

You want the Fucking truth?  The truth is Stronger Bigger Black Tribes (yes I mean Tribes) just went and RAPED, RAPED and pillaged the smaller and weaker ones,  Just a Fucking Fact,  When they got done, what was left, they MARCHED your (ancestors) ass too the coast and sold you.    Probably  to a white man.  Probably  Dutch, maybe even English and yes I know some American slave traders.

But the Fact is you were sold by your own Kind (if that's the way you want to look at it, I don't refuse to) You want your reparations?  You want justice?  You want a Nation full of non racism? So do I, let's start with taking away PC, let's start with taking away Affirmative Action   Are you going to tel me that just because some chick has a Vaj, that she's more qualified than I am? Or because of the color of his skin????   Really?  So if you want a free an equal Country then let's just kill that shit.

Oh yeah,  I'm not even getting into this white privileged bullshit but let's just hit a Little About Rep orations?   might we?  So you want your 40 Fucking acres and your mule do ya?  Well we already gave it to you, even tho I don't think we owe own it but yes it's been paid?  Read your Fucking History, I'm not going to give you the name. (This will mean something to a pretty little girl out there, that's the reason why I bring it up, I want her to know I love you Eugene) .

So anyway, I'm dragging on and really just getting tired of my own thoughts.  I'll end this just as I'd like you peeps to know,  I have a Gunny out there (who's not a Gunny anymore, He's a Retired CSM)

I'd pick up a weapon and stand a post next to you any day my friend!!!

More to come

What If???

What IF?  What if people walked around actually gave a shit about what they see?  Isn't it amazing how much trash you see on the side of the road?  The pile of cigarette butts in the parking lot where someone just dumped the ash tray or just flicked it on the ground?  That mysterious pick up truck bed, trash eating monster?

Do you know there's an island of plastic out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean?  Just shit that "we" have made damn sure didn't go into a landfill.  Loads of illegal dump sites around the Nation.  Folks, I'm no tree huger but I would like to see the planet last a little while longer.  So here's my challenge to you.

What if, tomorrow when you go to work, or stop by the gas station or the grocery store as you walk to the door you stop and pick up one piece of trash.  Maybe a cigarette butt, yes I'm a smoker, I know how nasty those things are.  WHAT IF?  What if everyone reading this does it?  Don't have a lot of readers but last count there were over 15000 clicks from over thirty different countries!!!  WHAT IF?  What if someone saw you and you simply stated, "just trying to do my part"?  What if you said something like, "this place looks so much better when it's clean"?

WHAT IF?  What if the person who saw you did the same thing?  What if someone saw them do it?  I'm not saying we can clean the world but if you pay it forward, you just might sleep a little better.

FT Thomas

Ok boys and girls I'm currently in the great city of Ft. Thomas, KY.  I'm busy as a bee getting treatment at the VA Domiciliary here.  I've been here since the 7th of June and must say that I find Ft. Thomas to be a quaint little town.  They are celebrating 150 years and have done some really nice things to commemorate the anniversary.

However, during the Forth of July parade, the city in all of it's wisdom decided to take down the American Flag.  The one you see to the right.  It's a real beautiful sight, I'd say it's 100-150ft high, Flag is proportionate to the pole, and for what ever reason the City decides to take it down over the Forth.

I don't know if it was maintenance on the pole or they replaced the Flag.  But for whatever reason it went down and did not make it back up until after the holiday.  That was an extremely poor decision and a prime example of the Five P's.  Prior Planning Prevents Piss-poor Performance!!!

Not only did that reprehensible act occur but someone, somewhere along the chain of command here allowed one of the floats/vehicles to fly the Mexican flag in a Mother Fucking American Independence Day Parade.  It's the Fucking Forth of July for God's Sake, not Fucking cinco de mayo.  As shown in the other pic.  I appologize for which, my phone doesn't have the best camera.

Again, I am new to the area; however, one can rest assured that I will be contacting the Mayor of this great little city, along with any Council Members they may have.  If I don't get a proper response, I'll go further up the food chain.

Sorry for the tardiness of this post.  I've been very busy as of late.  You can always drop me your thoughts on this @   dsgajewski@gmail.com

I'll keep you posted!

VA Police

My experience with the VA Police is limited and I'm sure it's like everything else in life.  There are some good and bad.  But these pics that you see here are my perception of the VA Police.

The top three are a policeman's personal motorcycle (POV).  It is illegally parked.  Not only in the easement of a Handicap Van Lane but also a Fire Lane as you can tell by the Fucking Big Red Stripe!!!  I wonder how many tickets this guy has written?  These top three are at the VA Domiciliary at Ft Thomas, KY.  Not only do they treat and house Vets that suffer from PTSD, TBI but also homeless and SA alike.  There are outpatient PT and OT clinics in this Bldg that are operating daily.

How does one expect anyone else to follow 72 million rules and regulations when the enforcers of those R&R's don't?  Apparently this guy works nights and granted the spot should be free but we all know what happens when we assume.  Even though, this officer left after his shift (about 0730) it was not long until I saw a van pull up with a side door wheel chair lift.

Now these bottom three, they really take the cake.  What you see is the water tower at Louisville, KY's VAMC.  This tower is on VA ground and it's surrounded by an eight foot tall chain link, barbwire topped fence.  The grounds are or should be patrolled hourly.  Keep in mind that that I estimate the base of the tower to be about one hundred feet in the air.  The red letters that you see are about fifteen feet tall.  So, it's my belief that one guy had to climb the tower, lower a rope to someone else, hoist up a step ladder along with paint and other supplies after they breached the security fence on Federal Government Property, patrolled by VA Police while being filmed by (I don't know how many) security cameras.

I mean this is some impressive shit!!
BTW, I know the pics are bad but the letters read, "No More Wars, Bread not Bombs and Resist 45".  Wanna talk about VA red tape?  That tower faced I-71/I-264 right into downtown Louisville.  It was repainted by 1730hrs or 5:30pm for you civilians reading this.  Funny how if the VA Management wants something done it gets done.  But, if a Vet needs an appointment or his claim looked at there's a wait.

That's All I Got!

Service Org.'s

Veteran Service Organizations for the most part are hidden little gems that one sees very much.  The swing to your right was donated and installed by the DAV.  My friend was in a car accident nearly three decades ago, this was the first time he'd been on a swing since he was bound to a chair.

There are many of these Org's, DAV, VFW, American Legion just to name a few but what I'd like to bring attention to is the Ladies Auxiliary side.   These gals are Saints.  Truly!  Just the things that I've seen since 2010 (the year my VA experience began) makes me ashamed of myself.  Everyday; not one day a year, but everyday these people put smiles on the faces hospitalized, homeless, despite Veterans.

Small things, things that one might mistake as incidental, such as: delivering books to hospital beds, VA clinics, baking cookies for homeless Vets, bingo night for hospitalized Vets and ensuring that everyone leaves with something, even if it is just a couple of bucks.  They take snacks and juice boxes etc... to Veterans housing units, they play games with them.  I could type all days on their good works.

The point is, they need help.  They've never asked but I'm sure they do.  So if you have a couple of bucks throw some their way, it will go to good use.  Have some spare time?  Ask what you can do to help.  Want to teach your children some humility?  Spend the day volunteering with them.  The VA hospitals always need some help.  You'll find them there.  Doesn't have to be Christmas, Memorial Day or any other holiday, The need is year round.

Just throwing that out there

MAN DOWN!!! The System Is Broken!!!

One Flag for every Vet that commits suicide every Month
I've been on this since I first heard the stats several years ago.  Something is wrong!!!  We need help.  "Our Veterans" are taking their own lives at the rate of Twenty (20) a day.  That number was reduced, according to the VA at the end of last year.  It used to be twenty-two a day.  I'm in the system, the system isn't, doesn't, and probably has never worked.

There is one organization that I am familiar with, The name is Active Heroes, they are road marching (among other things) to raise awareness to the issue of Veterans Suicide.  Look them up on FB.

These pictures to your right were placed by another group named Flags for Forgotten Soldiers.  They too, are on FB.  Please look them up and help anyway you can.  It is my belief that the reason the number is going down is because we are running out of Vets.  The VA isn't getting any better.

The VA, And The Hits Just Keep On Coming!!!

This is a letter that I have e-mailed the President of the United States and the Secretary of the Department of Veteran Affairs.  I Fucking swear these people are going to make me go insane before it's all said and done.

Dear Sir:

I'm writing to you today so that you may be aware of some (just some) of the problems that I am having with the VA.

1) I can't get in touch with anyone that can answer questions for me.  When I call any of the VA 800 numbers the hold time is more then I have allotted to spend.  As of lately, when I go through the prompts, the recording says, "we are experiencing a high volume of calls, you will now be disconnected".  Allotted time being the time in between groups and classes during business hours.

2) Since 24 Mar 17, I have been in the ER, medical ward, psych ward, SARRTP unit, and finally here at the VA Ft. Thomas Domiciliary with one day on the streets in between. During my stay at 7n in Robley Rex Med Center, they were not going to let me transfer to the SARRTP unit due to caffeine use.  We are talking about a substance abuse treatment program and they are worried about my caffeine intake???  I had to do another interview with them and the questions were all about how much caffeine did I use before entering the hospital?  How much am I going to use if the Treatment Team decides to let me in? etc...  It was only when I demanded to see a Patient Advocate that someone came and told me that I could obtain treatment there.  BTW, I'm still waiting on the Patient Advocate.

3) While at the SARRTP unit, there were several problems, some of which I've tried to get the office of my Congressman to help me with but it doesn't seem to be productive.  I'll explain the major ones here:  I suffer from PTSD.  I have been diagnosed with PTSD from several civilians and VA Doctors alike.  During my nine week stay at the SARRTP unit they would not let me be seen by the unit's PTSD Doctor, nor would they let me go to the PTSD Clinic in the main building.  This is after my VA Psychiatrist has diagnosed me with PTSD and has it linked to Combat in his notes, along with the Doctors in 7n at the main hospital.  I was however; allowed to see the PTSD Doctor's intern for about twenty minutes at which point, he told me that I had "No Trauma".  I applied to several VA Treatment Centers so I could continue Treatment and in the hopes of getting help for my PTSD, which I believe is the root of my problem.  The VAMC's that I applied to are in IN, IL, NC, MS and OH which is where I am at now, Ft. Thomas just happens to be in KY but falls under Cincinnati, OH; all of which, I've had little or NO reply whatsoever.  Ft. Thomas being the exception.  Ft. Thomas denied me TWICE.  They denied me the first time because I didn't make enough money.  I didn't make enough money to go to a VA Homeless Substance Abuse Domiciliary.  (Please help me with that one)  They denied me again after I reapplied and said I'll do whatever it takes to go back to work.  Maybe I didn't explain myself properly but the reason was SSDI which I am not receiving.  They only allowed me entrance to the Dom after I was approve for the VA Non Service Related Pension of $1075 per month.

4) I arrived at Ft. Thomas on the 7th of June and the next day I meet with my primary Counselor (Kendra McMullen, who is great BTW) which among other things set me up with a PTSD orientation.   Ft. Thomas was where I really wanted to be for the simple reason that it is said to be the best in the Nation for PTSD Treatment.  The reason that I was told is because I don't have PTSD.  That I haven't been diagnosed because I apparently failed the 1000 question test.  I have also been told that as Honorably Discharged Veterans we are "eligible" for treatment at the Dom but we are not "entitled" to treatment.

5) Do we believe a handful of Therapist and Doctors or one Nurse Practitioner that allowed me to take the test DRUNK.  I didn't even see the questions.  She read them to me.  All of my C&P Exams were taken under the influence.  All ten/twelve hours of them.  Since then I've been trying to retake the exams but to no avail.  I am sorry that I wasted the VA's time and money but I've been self medicating since I started jumping out of airplanes.  It only got worse after DS/DS.  There are a lot of things I won't list here because I'm ashamed or simply don't want it out in public.

In conclusion, I sincerely hope that you can help me out with this situation.  Sir, I have a small black backpack in my room and I'm so very close to putting what little clothes that I have in it, signing out before walking across the street for a shot and a beer.  Then living on the streets.  I would also direct you to my blog where this will be posted.  There are several post there about the VA and at last count, readers from over 30 countries.  Please keep in mind that the majority of the post concerning the VA are not favorable.
